I think she should've waited a bit more before signing her debut film. I understand that it was a huge Karan Johar film and all... but still. She was probably only 18 while they were making the film and her lack of exposure along with the terrible script gives the impression that she can't act. Also, needless to say that at such a young age, she's no Jennifer Lawrence when it comes to natural acting talent.

Alia have got very good line up for 2014 .She is just 20 n will improve for sure ..Deepika nad anushka also debut at the same age .But she over hyped by media and is getting everything very easily unlike others like yami,diana,illeana,shraddha ,pari

I think she is hyped because she did her debut with KJO
If she had done it with bhatt camp she won't be this hyped.
