Ayesha out!Yehi hai right choice, Aamir?

Ayesha Takia couldn't seem to impress Aamir Khan enough. Now, Asin has replaced her in Ghajini.

Aamir Khan's search for Ghajini's leading lady just doesn't seem to end. The latest buzz doing the rounds is that Ayesha Takia, who was earlier signed for the film, is no longer a part of Ghajini. There are reports that Aamir Khan was not very keen to cast Ayesha in the film. He has now replaced Ayesha with Asin in the film. Asin was also a part of the original Ghajini in Tamil.

Our sources reveal that Asin has signed the film three days back and is quite excited to make her Bollywood debut in a film that made her a star overnight in the South. Incidentally, Aamir had called Asin to praise her when he saw the Tamil film for the first time. Aamir then roped in the original director A. R. Murgodoss for the film. The film is being produced by Ram Gopal Verma's brother Madhu Verma.

Ayesha's father Nishith Takia says, "Yes it is true that Ayesha is no longer a part of Aamir's film. They had initially called us and finalised Aayesha's role. But, I have no clue why she is no longer a part of the film. I don't know what happened but I do know that they are looking out for some other girl to play Ayesha's role at the moment. We were always under the impression that Ayesha was doing the film. However, there are no problems as far as I am concerned. I have known Madhu Varma for a long time now and we have very good relations with him. If given a chance we will definitely work together in the future."
