All through the episode I felt Jalal suffered the most injustice for trying to be fair. Unfortunately, no one understood his passion for justice, where he was ready to sacrifice as well. He took a bold step of creating a new law that would uplift the society. Surprisingly enough the entire maulvi clan stood by it. Everyone but the cheapo and daayan hailed the new law. MA is one of the most dangerous naagin that appears white from outside but only has evilness inside. Atleast her cheapo son is transparent about his cheapo desires, so one knows what to expect. MA covers it up in her white clothes by declaring her love for Jalal repeatedly. Today, I felt she never loved Jalal. It has always been Adham. MA love for Jalal is only because it gives her more power. The scene where she hugs her son for hurting Jalal/Ruqu was very pathetic. Any small doubt that I had about MA loving Jalal were erased, it was very clear that Adham was her only child. No wonder Adham is such a cheapo, her Mom salutes him for throwing mud at Shenshah.
Something tells me that Adham is going to kill Akta sahib soon. He opposed Cheapo in the sabah and MA did not like it at all. Even Jalal was taken aback at the way MA supported cheapo's need to say his POV. Cheapo very cleverly gets Jalal in his trap. He starts of with how this law should be imposed on the king, to which Jalal readily agrees that he would never marry a nabalik. Everyone is busy hailing shenshah's supreme justice and Adham throws another trap. This one dumbfounds even Shenshah and MA (as she never thought her cheapo son was capable of such arguments). The entire sabah is in uproar and specially Ruqu as this was a direct attack on her. Ruqu is emotional and justified in her stance. Jalal understood may be for the first time that his overlooking of Adham's past crimes have come to bite him big time. He understands that Adham is taking advantage of his need for being fair and just. I applaud Jalal for not getting emotional yet again and instead staying patient as his need for justice is above everything else.
I hope one day Ruqu can appreciate and understand why Jalal did not do anything to Adham. The only issue I had was why Jalal did not argue that the new law holds true only for upcoming marriages as many forum girls pointed out yesterday. If they rule out all the past marriages then it can cause lot of pain. He could have checked with his ministers and people, everyone would have supported him. But, our CVs are busy trying to gain TRPs by dragging and complicating this issue. The CVs have already given us a hint that remarriage is not an easy option either. I still hope that the solution is not divorcing Ruqu, as no woman would take it easily and specially Ruqu whose whole life is about being the most khaas begum. Hence I feel that Jalal would not hurt Ruqu in this manner. I am unable to come up with an alternative, but I am pretty confident that Jalal will have a way where 'Cheapo bhi marjayega aur shadi bhi nahin tootegi'.
I was not happy to see the old Jodha that blames her bhagya, that only weak people do. I wish CVs left the leads characterization intact and focussed on drama for TRPs. I wish Jodha thought about Jalal's plight also. Here he was trying to take the right decision and pass a just law. But, something told me in the conversation with Moti that she blames Jalal for this situation. I would be glad to be proven wrong Jodha. She is crying for Ruqu, but does she understand Jalal's plight who once again is paying the price of being a king. He is once again being backstabbed by his own brother.
Precap: Ruqu is mad at Jalal as she feels that he is going to divorce her. I am not going to buy that till I see the episode tomorrow. I have a hunch that Jalal is going to throw such a googly that Cheapo/MA will not be able to bat it out.
