The plot thickens in Channel [V]'s popular show Dil Dostii Dance, produced by Cinevistaas Ltd. with the return of Kriya (Shakti Mohan)!! Kriya is back to the St. Louis College and has her task cut out as she will be heading the dance workshops going to be conducted. And this obviously has not gone down well with everyone, who were her best friends at one point of time.
This is so predictable!! But wait here, as there is a surprise too in store for the viewers in this Friday's episode (4 December 2013). Even though Kriya will get a cold shoulder from everyone including Rey (Kunwar Amarjeet Singh), she will be pleasantly shocked to see the first acceptance coming from her first rival.
What are we arriving at? Well, we hear that Kriya will get a nod of approval from Sharon (Vrushika Mehta) who happened to be her rival before. Sharon will not only lend her support to Kriya, but will also go on to be Kriya's first friend post her comeback.
Does Sharon really intend to help Kriya? Or does she have a hidden agenda behind this move?
We tried calling Shakti Mohan but could not get through to her. Also, our efforts to reach Vrushika went in vain.
Well, this is the update we have gathered regarding the next highpoint in the track of D3.
We also hear that the creative team had in fact planned a major dance-off sequence between Sharon and Kriya just before the two girls shake their hands and make up in a big way. However, the scene could not be shot, is what we hear.
Our source tells us that Vrushika Mehta who has been struggling with her health for the past few months had to be admitted again in hospital for two days owing to a drop in her platelet count. The girl has apparently not fully recovered from the dengue attack she suffered few months back. She is so weak that she keeps fainting on the sets often, and had to get admitted this time around. Also, Shakti Mohan too suffered a minor mishap while shooting for her re-entry dance sequence. Shakti actually got hurt on her already injured toe and could hardly walk. When this dance-off sequence was being planned, both Shakti and Vrushika were so sick that the creative team decided to alter the sequence in the interest of the actors' health.
As of now, Kriya and Sharon have shot a sequence wherein Kriya is alone when Sharon comes to her and accepts her as a friend.
Sad that we could not see the two ladies getting into a contest of sorts... Never mind, as there is always a next time!!
For now, let's enjoy the Sharon-Kriya union!!!
