* Spoiler Alert *

smrth--

The spoilers say -
- kumud does not tell saras about kusum..
- so saras enters kusum's room to tell her not to worry...thinking she would be worried about danny//
- mohan's family enters kusum's room...find saras and kusum...and start blaming saras & kusum as having an affair..
- kusum's wedding will break
- then kumud will tell saras to marry kusum..to which saras will refuse..

In MZZB...Adil & Saba in same room at nikaah raises the same type of ruckus...and a confused Arfeen blames Saba too..

Same twist is being attempted here with following character placements (though relationships in SC are different)
Saras - Adil
Kusum - Saba
Kumud - Arfeen

Kumud asks Saras to get married to Kumum? I thought Jenny was joking😕😡

On Friday, Guniyal thought Kumud knew about Kusum's intentions. Today, she slaps Kusum for telling Kumud. Yeh kya blooper hai.

Wow, I slept through some pretty wonderful discussions
My do paise worth

The story is as much about Saras vs Kumud as it is about Saras and Kumud

When It started, these two pitted themselves against each other - he wanted to say no, she dared him to come and day it

This culminated in that fateful night when he rejected her, he could have turned to her for strength, instead he turned away from her, in his moment of weakness

That was the time, everyone wanted them to be together, yet these two, became their own biggest enemies

Thereafter the story turned

After the marriage, they were together, though for pramaad it was Saras vs Kumud - his ultimatum - to choose me, you must be against him - culminated in shradh

They survived all that, they were together, just not as lovers, not openly publicly able to announce their relationship

Now inpsite of her decision to stay with pramaad, they are together, but kusum is using this as an argument of why should you have both, you chose pramaad, so that automatically leaves Saras for me

Time, stupid decisions, their goodness, their character flaws all are taking turns to keep them apart.

But what I can't understand is why is Kumud so quick to take a decision where she doesn't choose Saras?

After she walked out of her marriage , the choices don't make any sense

Anyway, these dobos have a love that is strong, and so true that it grows stronger with each crisis these two land themselves in

This time too I am sure it will be the same, they will be together, but I think, it's time for them to now publicly stand together,

Time to stop hiding their relationship and make a declaration, so that kusum and pramaad and the society at large can see that they are together, a rishta made in heaven , and are together in mind and soul .

After those wonderful words Arshi cant say much. You said it all. They are pitted against each other as they are so linked to each other.
Now Saras will be accused of breaking Kusum's rishta by going to that room. Then, the argument might come - that he ruined it and so he has to fix it.

Arshi and all,
Perhaps there is a need to support Kumud, sometimes even in her ambiguity, if Samud is a rightful conclusion we want- and I believe it is rightful. More so when she is morally not at fault, altruism going to be her weakness/nemesis in present case. In this line, Sometimes not defending Saras is kinder to him in longer run. Just imagine his unmitigated pain each moment when sentenced into a lifelong shackle...
Why this paradox? Consider this...two 'marriages', both unfortunate, invalid thrusts on their souls keeping them separate, do have ethical obligations. In the source, the first one (hers) was dissolved 'naturally' by the time the other (his) happened. Writers here are dangerously playing with chronology in keeping Kumud in binds. Pramad is not yet 'resolved' and Kusum is already exploding. A moral outrage, at seeing Kusum 'coveting' would be substantially weakened, once she will have 'sanction' of marriage. Kumud will be proportionately ill placed. There is one last important 'fact' from the source that may be adhered here- hopefully. I will share it at proper time. But meanwhile, Kumud needs to be 'understood' and supported...Just a candid share as based on intent of story and not in respect of actors who play out these characters. Please indulge the attempt as a personal view.

Kumud was in shock, dilemma, feeling insecure and hence thinking about the worst. She started equating 'Sahara dena' with something else. But, in all this one thing slipped out. Somewhere she created the thought that Saras could share life with someone else. That too relatively easily. Well she is human n a woman n it's quite natural to feel that way. But...

Oh kumud!!! In this moment of weakness n despair he is the only one who can support you. Its time to take him into confidence n not hide it from him.

Saras's line would be --- jab andheron mein apne hi ghrne lago, tab tum mere Paas aana priye. Yeh deepak jala hai jala hi rahega tumhare liye.

He is so much like bharat / manoj kumar of the movie purab paschim. But kumud is not only his love but his equal in some ways.

I am truly floored ...
...by the discussions and passion on this thread 😆

If only the "creatives" could bottle some of it for their professional use...

The MZZB parallel is a little mixed-up, isn't it? There Saba-Arfeen were the equivalent of Kumud-Saras here. Their marriage was destroyed by alleged closed-doors encounter bet Saba and Adil

So here if Saras-Kumud relationship is to be destroyed (yet again) by Saras being in the room with Kusum, then the significant pattern would be

Saras = Saba; Kumud=Arfeen and Kusum=Adil

Mohan being the minor character here, whether the Mohan-Kusum banns gets called off is less significant.

Moreover, Kusum actually loves Saras, much like Adil had a secret fire burning for Saba, so the parallel is complete that way as well. Plus, Kusum, Kumud are sisters, Arfeen, Adil were cousins.

I have problems with discussing MZZB and our present version of SC-remix on the same page because they are on different planes of finesse in terms of execution, and at different ends of the universe in terms of writing quality, story integrity. The only resemblance would be in actor quality.

This SC remix version reminds me of the Shakespearean plays with similar A loves B loves C type themes, but those were all written as comedies, so our show just leaves me both confused and indifferent at the same time. Brilliant!
