I didn't feel bad for him. This was of his own making. He did not take any other male or female member along to support the women and also offer moral support to him. Later he panicked and ruined everything.

He could have taken a room for Ira to rest. He did not do so.

He could have called up Ira in a calmer tone than the alarmed way in which he did. His panicky tone is responsible for Ira hurrying like this.

He might have felt crushed for what happened to his wife and kid. But if he had handled the situation a little more properly then this would not have happened.

Unbelievable that he's shown to be an army guy! He is forever clueless in managing a crisis situation.

He and his darling wife lived happily and led lives like unofficial kin and queen of Kesarbagh later so I don't feel that bad for him.

Who knows if his and his glutton father's lax attitude was responsible for Anup never being located! They easily believed he was dead?

i cn understand your view to some extent. he didn't intentionally do anything but i have to admit he was irresponsible. he could have taken precautions which anyone would do in these circumstances but he wasn't able to handle the situation well.

Exactly it's hard to think of alok and his father as being in the army at all, there's no order in their household, they can't deal with problems but choose to fudge the situation or avoid the issue altogether. Alok should have had the guts to tell ira she lost the baby instead of taking the easy option of lying. Daddu seems to never take responsibility for anything, where was he when he had two heavily pregnant daughter in laws that could go into labour at anytime. Anoop was probably doing his duty somewhere, so him not bring there can be justified.

Even I felt sorry for Alok and felt like crying when doctor said Ira had to be operated and the child removed.

What was ALok's fault that all are bashing him? He is a man.. men do not know how to take care of women who are undergoing labour pains. Ira was not towards the end of her pregnancy term. She had plenty of time. So he asked her to come back.

He did not know that his moron wife would actually act like a moron.

This is very funny... why should he take a room for Ira? Ira's due date was long ahead. And nothing would have happened ot her if she had not fallen. She should have been extra careful while getting off the tonga. Why blame Alok ?

@Shinya

Alok is supposed to be better in handling situation since he was shown to be an army guy.

Taking a room or cot for Ira was possible so she could take rest. After all people do take rooms or beds for even family members who accompany a patient. With the money and status that Alok had, he could have done it easily instead of sending Ira.

And no matter in how much panic he was, he should have talked calmly to Ira on phone instead of making his panic apparent.

Ira may be a moron. But Alok's no less of a moron either.

I agree he could not remain calm under that situation. But ira's condition was neither so delicate that she need to stay in the hospital. Even the nurse asked her to go home and take rest.

It was because Meenu was asking for Ira that he asked her to come immediately. So I dont feel it was Alok's fault.

No pregnant woman would ever sit in a tonga and go anywhere. Ira was more foolish when she was younger than what she is now.

Totally agree with you. Alok did not behave at all like an Army person...they should be so much in charge of any situation but this guy always ducks in crisis. He should never have sounded that panicky at all when he called Ira. That made the situation so worse.
Daddu...nothing left to say about him...he is a complete showpiece in that household
