And not all of them have made sweeping statements...some of them have given specific views based on what they have made out from Ranveer in the last month or so. Everyone cannot and does not have to follow every single interview / film of an actor to pass comments on them.
If the reference is to Anushka bashing (because she is not in news) and putting Ranveer in a good / sympathetic light (because he is news)...nothing to say on that, once again! Those who did so, would be the best people to comment on it!
@bold: Like I said, that's entirely okay. No one can be expected to follow every interview or movie even if they are starring a favourite, sure. But if someone (let's just say old fans or those who are following interviews) calls out or expresses something to counter what is being perceived as the case by fans who may not have a grip on the entire picture, it's entirely fair game too.
Second bit...the funny thing is I have seen a lot of comments from people who are 'shipping' Ranveer and Deepika, but seem to only have followed this guy for 'a month or two' and are suddenly putting forth opinions as if not only sitting in his head or house, but also flexibly putting forth their versions of what has happened in the past. I understand that some may want the nature of Ranveer and Deepika's relationship to be romantic and a reality at that, but you don't really have to build it on trashing another person or comparing it to Ranveer's relationship with another person in the past, most especially when majority of what I see suddenly is a lot of fans of this pairing painting Anushka as a horrible person for some reason. Where does the need for that even come from? Because Anu is down and it's easy to take a shot at her while everyone else does too? Or because doing that somehow gives more credibility to the relationship some would like to believe is true? If I only read this forum for a month or two, I'd have believed by now that Anushka really is a vicious, rude, unkind person who seemingly brings out the worst in another adult, puts him down, insults him, is overbearing, and yet desperate at the same time. But as someone who has observed Anushka and Ranveer's equation from the first movie that they starred in together, it's fair game in my opinion, as mentioned above, to differ and call out what I see as a 'twisted with the times' kind of a take on things.
Anyways, I guess it's purposeless to argue about this since you mentioned you've seen close to nothing of Anushka or her movie/interviews with Ranveer and thus don't really have any opinion to make or stake in this matter...and as is, Ram Leela is over too, so dynamics in the real world and the forum will both change as well. No point really ruing over or beating them.
