The lady playing Ira is a good actress but Sheets is right that she and Alok look ill matched. Alok in fact doesn't look old enough to father a son as old as Shiv. At most I can take him as Sanchi's dad or uncle. He does not look mature enough to be Mahi's father either.

This actor looks young only in BV. He's in that Asian Paints ad if I am not mistaken and he has been made to look convincingly old in that one.

CVs maul urban women completely. Village people at least reform or are perfect. Urban ones neither reform nor are perfect.

Shiv's real parents will be from rural background too. How can an urban born child be ideal in BV verse?

Attempts to show Anandi-Sanchi bonding irk me. Scenes look forced.

Mannu was just an excuse. Now that the real ends have been achieved by CVs, Mannu is out. Even if they show him they show him as a troublemaker, throwing things, endangering his own life or lives of others around him! Poor kid!
