A New Star Is Born

At first had no inclination to put down my thoughts...but an afterthought made me change my mind...

Solely because tonight's episode earmarked the advent of what "Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" has been about...the journey of a common girl with simple aspiration to stardom...

Coming to the episode though everybody going ga ga over Madhu appeared rather OTT to me...what I liked about the episode was RK's initial reaction to Madhu hogging the limelight...perfectly natural for a person who is used to being the "center of attention" always...suddenly this shift of focus from him is naturally going to unnerve him and RK has never been the one to repress his basic emotions...

For a man so full of "I, me and myself", finding himself being side-lined was surely hitting where it hurts the most...And RK being RK is bound to react in his usual sarcastic and cynical manner...

Don't know about others but I am loving this turnabout in Rishbala's life...which is truly the testing phase for both...for RK whether he can overcome his "self-obsession" and be supportive to Madhu...And if Madhu can be assertive enough to have her way and once again teach a lesson or two to RK in "love being all about giving and not possessing"...
