So suddenly Asad becomes wrong for telling Zoya to stay out of the matter because she has yet to understand his feelings? Suddenly he's the bad guy, and is a jerk and treating her like crap? No where was Asad rude when he told Zoya to stay out of it. No where did he yell at her, or say it in a rude manner. And how is him saying that implying that Zoya is not a part of his family? Did he say that "zoya this is a family matter so stay out?" No. He did not. He simply just told her not to involve herself in THIS particular situation. You wanna know why, because she's a immature little brat who needs to grow up and has yet understand his situation and his pain. And she probably never will.
I am beyond words at Zoya's reaction. Zoya's response, was just ridiculous. How the hell is she already involved? Uh no sorry, you never have been involved in it nor are you now. And the whole "She might be your mother but she is more than a mother to me" is completely and totally uncalled for an insensitive. Damn, right now she is really competing with Rashid with those types of lines. If you guys don't remember "before she was your mother she was my wife." So pretty much Dilshad is nothing to Asad but something more to her. So Asad's love for his mother whom he sacrificed 17 years of his life for is nothing compared to hers. I'm shocked Asad was calm with her even after all that. Instead of standing there preaching to Asad about trying to understand where his mother is coming from, maybe she should give it a try herself first and try to understand where Asad is coming from. But nope, that will clearly never happen.
Zoya claims to love Asad so much right, yet is unable to stand by the man she loves so much. Is unable to even TRY to understand the man she just loves so much. Asad has understood her pain and her longing for her father every single step of the way. He helped her try to find her father even though he had disagreed with her on trying to find a man who abandoned her, and whether he would even be happy to see her. Yet he still helped her and understood her when she said she had to see him just once. So why can't Zoya do the same? Why can't she support him and understand that he wants nothing to do with the man who left him and his family in misery for 17 years.
It's okay for Zoya to get mad at Asad, say whatever she wants to him without regarding his feelings, but it's not okay for Asad to do the same.
When Zoya will come to know about the woman who was in the factory being her mother, we'll see where her dialogues from today go. She'll expect everyone to support her and side with her, even her dear phuppi. She'll forget all about the love between phuppi and Rashid because for her he'll be the man who took away her mother, but he can just never be the man who took away Asad's father from him, his brother away from him, his whole childhood from him, and today his mother away from him. When her own father walks away from her choosing Humaira and Razia, we'll definitely see where her dialogues from today go.
Asad has every right to feel what he does and you know what, he had every right to tell Dilshad to choose. I'm more than happy he added that line. I wish he had said more.
Didn't Dilshad ask Asad once, to choose, whether he wanted his mother to be degraded again or not? When she forced him into accepting the Nikah challenge? So how is this any different? Dilshad is a hypocrite in her own words. Clearly shes forgotten everything she's said to Asad about his father. The way she compared Asad to Rashid at the SR fiasco, the way she told Rashid she finally understood why his son hated him so much. She also seems to have forgotten that 17 years ago, when Rashid left, Asad could have gone with him. He wanted to take Asad with him. But Asad chose to stay with his mother. He put his mother before all else, before living a comfortable life with Rashid. And look where that's gotten him today. Only to have his mother turn on him and choose that same man.
