I have from the day I started watching DABH had eagerly waited for the days when I can sing this song for Sandhya. Though I had watched entire Singapore track, Aug 29 epi, Oct disastrous SR, Cart scene, haldi scene you name the romance scene in DABH this song definetely didnt suit the occasion. But since last week I am seeing the Sandhya I want to see and the song perfectly suit her now.
Before I start the song and transaltion to those of you who dont the situation of this song in the movie a brief. It is from Alaipayuthe directed by Mani Ratnam and beautifully picturized on the lead pair Madhavan and Shalini. Music is by ARR.
In the storyline the hero heroine are married , but their marriage is a secret from respective families and they stay with their respective families. The song is a pining from heroine to be united with her love and her happiness in getting him as her spouse. Transalation goes like this
