Shraddha Kapoor requests privacy as paparazzi film her during hospital visit with Shakti Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor sparked concern among fans after she was seen visiting a Mumbai hospital with her father, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, on Friday. Several videos from the visit surfaced online, showing the actor appearing visibly uncomfortable as photographers continued filming the duo.

In the circulating clips, Shraddha is seen wearing a face mask, dressed in a floral shirt and loose fitting pants. She is seen carefully escorting her 73 year old father out of the hospital premises and guiding him towards their car. As Shakti Kapoor settles into the vehicle, Shraddha notices the paparazzi recording them and gestures with her finger, signalling “no, no”, while politely asking them to stop filming. Both father and daughter were masked during the visit.

The moment quickly drew attention on social media, with many users questioning the need to film celebrities during hospital visits. As of now, the reason behind Shraddha and Shakti Kapoor’s hospital visit has not been disclosed by the family or their representatives.

The sighting comes weeks after Shraddha suffered an injury while shooting for her upcoming film Eetha in November 2025. The actor reportedly fractured her left foot during a Lavani dance sequence while filming in Aundhewadi near Nashik. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and features Shraddha in the role of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, a noted Lavani performer.

Addressing fans after the injury, Shraddha had maintained a light tone while sharing her condition. She said, “Terminator ki tarah ghoom rahi hoon. Muscle tear hai. Theek ho jaayega. Bas thoda rest karna hai, but I’ll be absolutely fine.” Her statement was widely shared at the time, reassuring fans about her recovery.

Although Eetha is yet to be officially announced, the project has generated curiosity due to its subject and casting. Shraddha’s portrayal of a folk performer marks a shift from her recent commercial roles.

On the professional front, Shraddha was last seen in Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank, released in 2024. The film reunited her with Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. The horror comedy sequel performed strongly at the box office, becoming the highest grossing Hindi film of the year according to trade reports.
