Grilling time:-
- Is this first poem you ever wrote?.

Kinda, yes. I have written some rhyming lines in my letters, but never a full fledged poem.

- How you inspired to write this poem?.

Actually, I started writing a dear diary post, like how sandy wld feel n write in her diary when she was at training camp. But prose couldn't capture the emotions, feelings succinctly, concisely. It felt like dragging n dragging. So instead came out as poem.

- Whose broken heart feelings you've tried to capture via poem : Sooraj or Sandhya or SoorYa?.

Sandys, but also her feelings for her hubby, his love, n care n understanding too. Through sandys feelings I wanted to compliment suraj too, and their abiding love.
- How much time you took to write the poem?.

More than an hour. Because I was trying for a diary or a journal entry. How, late at night sandy wld think of suraj, how she wld recollect her life, with him, yearn for him,etc., first started as prose, but the last few stanzas flowed freely as I was writing them as poetry.

Hope i answered ur questions adequately. Now I really feel like a successful writer, being interviewed.
