I don't want to slap her, I want to give her a big hug. It breaks my heart every time I see little Kalpi doing all of Neetu's housework. Yes, Kalpi disobeyed Kamla and lied to her, but the poor child was devastated when she thought she might lose her mother to illness. In her desperation she did what she felt she had to to secure money.
I'm frustrated with Vitthal. He's a wonderful, caring husband and good father but why the hell can't he go get a job?! Even when Neetu fired Kamla did Vitthal even once say I'll go get a job? I don't think so. It was Kamla who told her family she was going to go look for another job.

I agree, slapping Kalpi would be horrendous and lacking of understanding of the plight of such children. Any child, seeing the helplessness of her parents would want to do something to help. Kalpi did not go seeking work. She went to Neetu to ask for money for her mother's treatment. It is Neetu who put this condition to the child. What option did Kalpi have? Neetu should be brought ot order for using Kalpi's majboori in this way.
Kalpi did what she need to do.
Vittal's helplessness in not being able to do something useful to earn for the family is frustrating. But it shows the economic situation of people living on the fringes of society accurately. The world over, men are unable to provide for their families because there are no work opportunities and they also don't have the where withal to figure out how to earn money through entreperneurship.

now I will take back that slap and put it on kamla and spineless vitthal, 😡 which Good mother will separate herself from her girl child, missing out on her growing up building and molding her character and seeing that ur child gets her own identity, good grief kamla is no paragon AND she is really start N to annoy me and vitthal support n such rubbish. and why is kamla doing all this so called great character,,,, so her daughter will be something big just for society to see, 🤢 ,ame man just ,lame... that is what it boils down too.. I know u may not agree but that is my POV and it is also the truth.. kamla is not Mahan as she thinks she is.. kalpi will disown kamla or hate her especially when she sees and knows that kamla is nurturing paki as though that is her own child... I find it quite disgusting what kamla is doing 😡 and I don't agree I don't care kamla reasonings is quite illogical and plain stupid.

Although I don't like that Kalpi is being sent away, I can see that this may indeed be her only way to salvation. If she remains with her parents she will become as helpless and lost as them. Kamla is not wanting her daughter to become something in life for society, but rather it is her responsibility as a mother to ensure that she provides her children with every opportunity to improve their lives.

don't agree, sending ur child away is not the solution it only puts distances, resentment and making one feel detached and dejected as though u are a pariah special moments of growing up and bonding is lost.. never to return... if kamla wants a good life let her train pakiya then and focus her energy there to get out of the tenement.. where is the male help gone? I stand by my point...

As can be seen, the males in this programme are helpless. Pakiya himself has accepted that he prefers to work practically and is not studious. Kalpi on the other hand has the intellect to be a successful student.
Yes, sending Kalpi away may create all kinds of negative feelings in Kalpi, NOW. But when she grows up and understands the situation, she will be able to appreciate the sacrifices made on all sides.
By sending her away, she also gets an opportunity to see what the possibilites are for her and she will get a wider world view. I don't like that this is happening, but I understand that there are benefits in it.

all this sending away only creates, Distances and lost relationship and bonding as we have seen... and that would always be the outcome for those who do it send their children away.. making loads of money can Never replace what was lost it cant buy those lost years...Never... money is all that it is to buy material things the best things in life cannot be bought!!!!! lesson to learn..
