I want to ask if AnSh can adopt Anuja directly...means can't they just take Anuja's responsibility legally?...Can it happen that if a couple finds some child lying somewhere it can legally adopt it with just some procedures...i want AnSh to adopt Anuja 😊

I think there is some procedure to adopt Anuja. First Anuja has to be included in the list of children up for adoption, by a gov recognized adoption agency. The rules maybe different if Anuja's parents are giving her away for adoption. Anuja was abandoned. So probably there is a police case filed against Anuja's parents(unknown). And police has to bring a closure to their investigation and inform the relevant authorities that Anuja's parents are non-traceable. Then Gov will declare the baby as orphan.
This is just my guess.

Adoption system very strange, it takes time, I do not get one thing about adoption, there are so many orphans in the world but still they make it very hard to adopt.
My neighbor has adopted Native American boy, they had to spend 60,000 dollars and they were with the mother when she was going to deliver the child and after that one more month to do the paper work. Poor lady, child is 1 year old now but she still gets nightmares that his biological parents came and took the child.
