PC: "In My City looks like an '80s video and considering she is India's answer to JLo, she could have done a lot more in terms of her look and overall styling. Even if she saw Rihanna and JLO as a reference point, she could have hired their stylist and production crew to make that kind of impact. Alisha Chinai in the '80s did better videos," says designer and stylist Ken Ferns.
Freida: "Pinto wins hands down in terms of styling which is very international. The dark grunge look and the skin show is very well executed. She looks unimaginable. The best part about Freida's look is that she doesn't exude a celeb vibe. She's underplayed it which has proved to be quite effective," adds Ken.
Hot tracks:
"Personally, I'm not a big fan of In My City. Musically, it's an electro-pop track with no personality.
Priyanka's heavily auto-tuned voice is disappointing. No doubt she looks hot, but we've seen her do the latkas and jhatkas countless times on the big screen, so there's really nothing new there to see," says Zahra Khan, fashion and music commentator adding, "Pinto seems to be taking some calculated risks lately. She's trying to project a provocative new image and Gorilla is her vehicle to showcase it. If one compares the two women purely on how much impact they have on screen, Freida blows the competition out of the water."
Zahra adds, "Her transformation from the girl-next-door we've known so far to sassy sex kitten Isabella is both stunning and effortless. Hands down, my vote goes to her in the hotness stakes.
Bruno Mars is a huge international artiste, so I think Gorilla is definitely going to get more play-time on the charts and on radio stations, and now seriously high YouTube views too thanks to Freida."

Yo Yo Honey Singh says, "I wouldn't like to comment on what Priyanka and Frieda have sung or how they've danced for their international songs. As a member of the audience I enjoy their singing and dancing. But I'd never do the same thing to win over an international audience. For me, my millions of Indian fans all across the world are enough of an incentive to sing what I want to sing. Why would I want to impress foreigners? Even if I tried I can't. So I would stick to the languages I am comfortable in, namely Hindi and Punjabi. Baki, I am okay with kuch angrezi jo sabhi Bharatiya samjhte hain. I will use please, thank you, sorry and love you. Usske aage mujhe firangi ban-ne ka koi shauq hai. It's like my cooking. I love to cook. And when I make my famous aloo ka parathas I add a dash of cheese to it. But only a touch of cheese so that the desi taste remains predominant. That's my music also. Having said that I think Priyanka and Freida are both very beautiful women and show stoppers in their own right."
