Imran Khan to play a chef in next film?

Ram Madhvani, known for directing several award-winning commercials, is set for his first feature film. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will helm the production for the movie.
The film, which has been registered as Biriyani, has been written and conceptualized by Anuvab Pal. Sources indicate that Imran Khan has been finalized to play the main lead of the chef, while Sonam Kapoor might be approached to play his love interest.

Imran Khan: 'Bhavesh Joshi is not a superhero film'

Imran Khan has refuted rumours that his next project Bhavesh Joshi is a superhero film.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, shooting for the film began in October.
Speaking to IANS, the 30-year-old actor said: "It's not a superhero film. It has no sci-fi or supernatural elements. It is the story of a normal guy set in the real world. There are no fantasy elements in that film.
"These are wrong stories. Neither is it based on any Gujarati play nor on a novel. It is just the story of a normal guy set in the city of Mumbai."
Khan has previously stated that actors are desperate for audience approval.
In a recent interview with Digital Spy, the star said he was not concerned with competing with his peers.
Khan features alongside Kareena Kapoor in the forthcoming Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, releasing on November 22.
