Thanks for the detailed update.
What Susan did was atrocious and she did not have any right to smash someone's phone. Well, if Raji unintentionally irritated Susan with constant calls, Susan too irritated Raji by asking k to get coffee. Somehow, the behavior of the entire lot seems too immature and childish like the behavior of teen students and totally lacks even the basic professionalism found in corporate offices. Raji should have her phone in vibrating mode or silent mode if she is in a meeting with a pm on an imp matter and this a basic office etiquette which even fresh grads from college follow. Also, I wonder how people can have such annoying cinema tunes/songs for ringtones instead of simple plain ringtones suitable for offices. Do they want to disturb the entire office with loud cinema songs? These things are basic unwritten office rules. Even what if Raji did was not ok, Susan did not have any right to destro someone else's personal property and if complained to hr, she could face serious actions. Any other person instead of Raji would have first complained to hr/ some senior mgr if this happened. Well, Raji has k to get her a new ph though!
David is clearly playing politics and trying to create rift bet'n lak and Raji and I wonder if he is playing along with Susan in this game. Well, seems like laks is slowly falling prey to these things.
In an ideal world, laks may not be perturbed by any such politics or things and would only work for the team and keep her personal front separate from the professional things. However, in real world, it is kinda difficult not to be disturbed by such things. Raji also does some real stupid things and then always asks for sorry with an innocent face as if she is unaware of anything around her. As for the car incident or the laptop, does it seem too much only to me that Raji is being favored too much over others of her team just because she is doing the presentation for the client! Agreed that Susan wanted to revenge Raji by asking her to do the presentation, however Vichu is far more matured, experienced and thinks more logically than others. He could have easily asked to laks who is more experienced to help Raji and share her work with her. He wants to break Susan's thinking that without her some one can step up and still the work can be done, but considering that Raji is a total newcomer and also her background, Vichu can always split the work and the presentation can always be handled by laks too. It now seems like only Raji is doing the work while others are always chatting or whiling their time away. Or is visu creating politics in the team? Also, if laks as a tl doesn't get a laptop, isn't Raji getting one naturally create a hard feeling for a tl? Also which office provides chauffeur driven car for a new entry unless he or she is the kid of the CEO? Is David doing this? Even Susan may not have an office car! Agreed that the client visit is really imp and Raji is working on it, but then thrusting the responsibility on a total newcomer w/o such client facing visits/ discussions seems somewhat ridiculous and risky unless the candidate has demonstrated exceptional capabilities earlier. Not everyone comes with an experience, but they always train with their PMs or TLs during some visits and then handle on their own. Also, even though Raji may have hidden the car thing unintentionally, but it is really stupid that she lied about the whole thing even when confronted. Not sure if visu arranged for the car as he is conscious abt the energy usage and would definitely would feel better if it were a car pool. So if admin did it, then Raji could have told them it would be better if laks could be accommodated as she is also helping on the same project, but acting totally naive is annoying.
As for swetha madan falling in love in 2 days, it seems too tamil serial like or movies like. As for even k/r love in what 2 or 3 months seem somewhat awkward but the way things are portrayed it seems like all unmarried people who work on the project in IT are falling in love in a few days they see each other. So, if they find a better looking person or even so a better person on a different project, they will fall out of the earlier one and fall in love again? I'm not a person against love, but sometimes feel frustrated about the way things are portrayed on tv. Also, k was in love with angel for 4 years in college? Unless angel broke it or something really bad happened in their relationship, it is again kinda awkward that he is in love with r so soon after that considering the fact that he joined soon after college. It is definitely not unusual for r to feel jittery and insecure hearing abt this incident unless k is also open with r.
Sorry for the long post, but just venting out my feelings here.
