This movie was sooo gross! Imagine falling in love with someone as old as Amitabh Bachchan. The very thought gives me the creeps ewww. Ram Gopal Varma is right such crap love stories are never meant to be understood. The man is a grandfather and his kids are parents. The only kinds of women that go for grandpas are gold diggers like Anna Nicole Smith. Why is RGV trying to make Mr Bachchan some kind of sex symbol at this age?

They say Jiah falls in love with Vijay because she needs a father figure, so why couldn't he be her daddy instead! He didn't have to be her boyfriend eeyuck. That would've been so much nicer and it would be a happy drama film that people would've enjoyed seeing. Ram Gopal Varma wouldn't have had to make his movie so sad and depressing. He wouldn't have another flop show on his hands either! 'Nishabd' is completely unrealistic and it is the fantasy of a dirty old man.

how can you say that? plenty of directors have created movies on this subject, have you ever seen the movie lamhe with Sri Devi and anil kapoor? IT WAS A HUGE HIT. yet no one seems to be complaining about that movie, plus joggers park, etc. Get over yourself, its a movie and its not for "dirty old men" like you so childishly put it.

If a director wanted this movie to be for dirty old men then he would have made it a p**no. SO please stop judging this movie as disgusting and think about what its really trying to say.

Yeah usachick821, Joggers Park was another film made on the similar subject. It was a well-made film, something different. Great performances by Victor Banerjee and Perizaad.

Before you get more confused. The blog isn't written by me. Lamhe was a big flop in india. Jogger parks was a beautiful movie but it was well-made and written beautifully and people in india did accepted the movie. Both The guy who was playing the older role and parizaad had brilliant performances and it shouldn't be comparing movies like nishabd🤢I haven't watch nishabd nor have any interest. Movies should be made which you can watch with your family and nishabd is defitnately not the one.

I am not directing this to anyone here...but because I have a feeling that arguments might start in this thread...just wanted to give a reminder..that you don't have to agree with everyone's opinion, but u have to respect ppls opinion. And im sure everyone knows that by now, on I-F...so it's just a reminder.

You're right.KANK had a decent story,but K Jo 's treatment suffused the film with quite alot of opulence ,thus rendering the film as "glossy" and far removed from reality..Mahesh Bhatt's Arth was a gazillion times better,because there it was more realistic.The ONLY reason why I didnt quite like KANK was 1)BAD acting by SRK and Rani...SRK hammed,Rani was wooden..Perhaps Kajol could have portrayed Maya more convincingly.... and the second reason being the film had an ostentatious feel.It lacked the soul.K Jo could have kept the glamour and gloss to a minimum ATLEAST in THIS film,the film would have been more realistic

People have different views...
I have seen Lamhe and It is beautiful...but it was a flop (expectedly)
Havent seen Jogger's Park...
Personally I feel Nishabd may be more raw and closer to life which is why ppl cant accept it and afterall Mr.Bachchan is considered a demi-god and thus ppl fail to understand this closer to life character.
