Why do you think Rajji decided to stay back at Sohum house ?? For her family's grace. Girls sacrifice a lot for their families to save them from disgrace.
Even if Bani gets a divorce from Parmeet, no one'll marry her n she'll forever remain a burden n a source of social disgrace for her family.

I think it's important to not only consider what will Bani do (under pressure or not) but also what she SHOULD do.

This drama has a social theme, and at least in the beginning, it can be considered as something engaged since it has a message to convey to people about the NRI dream.

Us, sitting at home, giving advice and discussing the situation of a fictional girl isn't to simply admonish her. It's more a way to take note of those social rules and stigmas in India, especially in rural India.

I like full and rich discussions, and BullEyes' thread is great because we can discuss what Bani ought to do and what should be ABLE to do and we have the opinion of people from both orient and occident.

In my opinion discussing issues, on a forum or at home with our family is part of the process of change of the mentality of our people.

I understand your point. And that is why serials like Bani can actually help guide girls and their families on options that are available. There are things people can do but just do not know how to achieve. And it is not just the small-town girls but even educated well-off girls/women who put up with abuse, maybe for social reasons and sometimes because they are scared of having to struggle alone.

Is it easy for us to say sitting in our houses?Yes.But if tomorrow we or our friends are faced by similar situations, the ones who have a career, normally find it easier to make a choice (as seen by the increasing divorce rates in India) but does that mean if one preferred to give up a career, it is impractical to think they can make a life which will consist of something other than abuse?

As for the serial, I am really looking forward to what advise the NGO lady gives in this regard.

Now about Bani's story in particular, I have nothing to say as I never imagined Parmeet to turn out this way. Now, I don't see how they will redeem his character by bringing him back to Bhullar's. All the men there are retarted, cheap bas***ds.. I don't see how Parmeet will be any better there. I also don't see how this will justify the NRI angle because Parmeet is a scamster.. marrying for property and then abandoning the girl.. then how is this story justifying the NRI theme.

If Bani comes back home, rajji-cutest's storyline can come true😆 .But she will definitely return to Bhullars . Otherwise there was no need to keep us updated how the power has shifted to Balbir.

Parmeet is charming but a negative personality.. That is why I do not have much hopes from him. Of course he will play another game to escape trouble,but I bet he will soon show his true colours again and fly off to find another victim

i wish also she should go back..to her mother-in law house.. 😛but now bani is proving to her self respect infront of husband and other people .. so mean women not a cheap person ..so women can do anything for their life .to should prove them . bani is teaching lesson as cupid to her husband and her husband family.. so she should teach good lesson to her husband family .. so she is suffering .. more in her life.. so she should go back to her sasural house.. 😡

as well as other side may be to cv doesn't like to interfere bani in sohum-rajji's life so they are going to move different way bani and rajji's life may be chance parmeet will fall love with bani.. on other hand even sohum also let see wat will happen..😉

ya very sad. but mummji is there who has love with bani as daughter..😛 i hope bani will change parmeet mind.. but other i mean if i thinking about bhullar mens.. iam getting small irrirates me.. i have doulbt how bani is going to handle bhuller mens ? (daarji , randeepp,balbeer.)only god should save bani from bhuller mens.😡. ..all those people very different with appearance and different cruel mindnes
