So after all that has happened, shoud Bani actually go back to Parmeet?

Granted he is her husband, but hasn't he proved that it is a relationship just on paper?

I can't think of any other reason than social stigma that she and her family will face for Bani being deserted by her husband so soon after marriage..

Or maybe her fear that she will always have to remain single at home, be a burden on her parents and reason for their worries

I think that she shouldn't go back because the whole bullar fam is crazy. two faced cheating husband, rapist brother in law, megalomaniac grandfather, and on and on.

And just like you said, they're not many reasons for her to be forced to go. I guess that the NGO lady will give her a speech that will convince her to go back with him. Or maybe she desperately wants to forgive him and so she'll go along with it.

The cvs are leading Bani to a very common situation : unwanted newly wed girl, in a sassuraal where she is bullied and disliked (especially by her husband). From there she'll have to overcome obstacles, win the heart of everyone and yadda yadda.

I'd be interested in seeing something that may be too challenging for the audiences : bani coming back to her parents' house and sohum wanting to get free from rajji to get with bani. It's a bit twisted but the cvs could make use of the fact that sohum is in possesion of a visa and maybe bani's mother will be eyeing him.

She shouldnt. But, she will. I'm gonna go with because of her family reason..

I really dont get the whole point of this show,the 'dilemma' of left -behind brides, because technically Parmeet is not in Canada and Bani is gonna end up back at the Bhullar pagal khana anyway..

Honestly, the real danger in my eyes is would-be rapist Randeep and how he would make her life miserable. Or maybe Parmeet is slowly gonna fall for Bani and all the same old same old story would play out...

@rajji-cutest: The storyline you have proposed is twisted but much more interesting than the one of the dreary new bride who wins over the whole family by being the perfect doormat..

As for Bani's decision, I want her to think and make up her own mind and now not do as others want - this time the person being the NGO lady.. If that lady has any sense, once she knows the truth, she should take Bani back home and let Bani decide with her family

@Sophi: I really am not able to accept that Parmeet will change one day.. And I still am not clear whether Parmeet has any connection with Canada or not.

When he was talking about taking away Jia's property, he said in 2-3 days he will take her property and leave the sheher (which I thought is town/city). He did not say desh (country)

Of course she should go back.

Really, it's so easy to sit at home n advice a girl what to do right n what not to do preaching. But have we forgotten the rural back ground of Ban's home n family ?? Have we forgotten the social rules n stigmas in Indian society ??

Why do you think Rajji decided to stay back at Sohum house ?? For her family's grace. Girls sacrifice a lot for their families to save them from disgrace.

Even if Bani gets a divorce from Parmeet, no one'll marry her n she'll forever remain a burden n a source of social disgrace for her family.

Our society needs to change first before girls like Bani n Rajji have more options to move on from their bad marriages. But as of now such advices though morally right n sounds good n sassy but totally impracticable.

Arey BE,, if they don't show her with Parmeet in that house winning all their hearts, then they will make her a kabab mein haddi in Rajji-Soham's relationship. I don't care what they do with her story as long as she doesn't interfere in Rajji's life.

Now about Bani's story in particular, I have nothing to say as I never imagined Parmeet to turn out this way. Now, I don't see how they will redeem his character by bringing him back to Bhullar's. All the men there are retarted, cheap bas***ds.. I don't see how Parmeet will be any better there. I also don't see how this will justify the NRI angle because Parmeet is a scamster.. marrying for property and then abandoning the girl.. then how is this story justifying the NRI theme.
