I sometime fail to comprehend why after mountainous effort of making a show popular and make the protagonists lovable and wanted you all take again painstaking effort to separate them and in this process you go to such an extent in tarnishing, specially the male protagonist in showing he is wrong, that you create a crack in the mirror. That is the reason even after you bring them back together again showing all the remorse and repent the crack doesn't disappear at least for a viewer like me. And this trend was started by Balaji first which was later followed by all production houses and it continues even now.
CV's here you are dealing with a historical story and I know you can't keep on showing romance and lovey dovey scenes but that doesn't give you the right to ruin the main protagonists to such an extent that they can't be redeemed.

Jalal and Jodha's marriage was under a special circumstance and they had to tread rough waters before they were on civil interaction terms, which was seldom. And only after few scenes like the sword fight scene, the aarti scene, Akbar's appreciating Jodha's poem which immediately followed the miscarriage track. This track left a bitter taste in my mouth which went on for a month followed by suicide episode and then you gave us approximately 2 -3 weeks of some good scenes and now we will see this ridiculous track of non - pregnant pregnancy track.

CV's don't forget this is not your regular saas-bahu soap where the sati savitri is always wronged and still she comes out victorious and then the couple reunite after separation and it is always the male who is wrong and finally when you run out of scenarios you take a leap and then make their children the next focus. This is a real story that happened in history and keep that respect and honor that these historical figures deserve.

Do you think after watching Jalal doubting Jodha's character we will be able to look at them with same admiration, adoration, love and passion? I skipped a lot of episodes from the miscarriage track or else I wouldn't have kept on watching the show. Now after such a long time you started showing Jalal in a positive light, you are showing several layers of Jalal with different colors that is looking appealing with his sense of humor, love for talents, appreciation of arts and literature, having a soft corner for Jodha, Jalal as a man of word and honor...after this if you show him misjudging his begum's character, do you think we will be able to love him later again when this track is resolved?

By now this much he must have gauged that Jodha is of strong principle, too proud of her status and honor as a Rajvanshi princess, she is righteous, upright and straightforward without any fear of death. She doesn't lie, back stab and neither does she do any thing back handed then how can she have an affair with another person? That too in a harem which is forbidden to any male other than the Shahensha himself! Jodha has saved his life and has always cared for him whenever he was hurt, if she can get pregnant with some one else's child then why will she take the effort to save the Shahensha on many accounts instead of letting him die and then be happy with her love? CV's I hope you realize how you will be destroying Jalal's character henceforth? It will be impossible to look up to him in that same light of admiration and attraction! Think about it CV's.

Jodha has been faulty in many many regards specially as far as Jalal is concerned. She has been unnecessarily rude to him even when Jalal is turning soft for her. Jalal has gone through massive transformation specially from Ajmer trip to Amer and did every thing possible in his power to win Jodha over with keeping his word, doing every thing possible in getting Sukanya married, respecting her family and her, showering love on her and her several innumerable talents and still she spitted venom on him unnecessarily so much so that she was becoming annoying. After months and months now that you have finally started toning her down towards Jalal you are again retracing her character back to that hatred mode when she will confront Jalal and he her on this ridiculous track. Will she be able to erase all the insults Jalal will heap on her for this? I don't want those repeated 'ghrina' dialogues and taunts of Jodha at drop of a hat on Jalal no matter how justified you all will make her look.

CV's remember this story is based on 16th century during the time of Mughal dynasty where the begums used to be behind the 'pardah' forget about being in front of another male other than their husbands. Then it would have been impossible for someone like Jodha to have an affair with another man which will be against the normal tradition, culture, norm back then. I am not even talking about her character, dignity and personality here. Don't bring 21st century TV soaps scenarios in Jodha - Akbar love story.

In the process what has happened before and I am sure will happen in future and now in present as well is l will lose all my interest and will stop watching the show. You will be walking dangerously on a thin rope and if you slip and fall and the show will too and no matter how good your actors are or how good they look you all will not be able to save it and the TRP's will be the biggest proof about this.

I am not happy with this upcoming track, period. You will ruin both Jalal and Jodha for me! And for me they are one team and not one against the other. I don't want to see Jalal vs. Jodha show, I want to see despite different culture, background, characters, personality, nature, attitude, behavior, rights and wrongs they became one and crossed all boundaries and barriers with their love and romance overcoming every possible storm, ups and downs in their lives.

I hope you all are reading this CV's. Dreading Monday now...!

If they brought in this track for the sake of TRPs, its not like they don't have ready made masala available for it already. Akbar led such an eventful life its enough to cover the scope of drama, romance and action that'd keep all sections of audiences happy for the next 2 years!

He had so many relatives plotting something or the other all through, his war missions, his inter-cultural marriages, his interest in arts/philosophy & religion etc etc. They don't have to resort to modernized unpalatable masala in order to churn TRPs.🤢

There's only so much dramatic license they can take with the silly 3 minute disclaimer they added in front. The body heat and this pregnancy track are nothing short of absolute nonsense.

Bless Hira Kunwari's soul - what a blotch on her identity this track is. Where's the Karni Sena when you need them?

@ blue - I can't agree more! I give them poetic licence or artistic license to the CV's to weave plots or scenarios but provided they look justified and valid and not this soap scenarios of extramarital affairs, kids from outside of marriage, the usual plotting and scheming of characters against the leads...we are done to death by watching them. I am not interested...period! And specially not on historical figures like Akbar and Jodha!

If they run out of ideas let them ask us , we will provide them with 1000's of scenarios or tracks.

And romance or light hearted, soulful moments we will watch for maximum 2 weeks tops and then come this ridiculous tracks which will go on for months and drags on and on! Utterly distasteful!

I'd always stated that Ekta had pleasantly surprised me with this serial and how far she'd tried sticking to history by taking snippets from the Emperor's life. I take back everything. I have no illusions now. I spell downfall if the makers don't buck up! Hira Kunwari and Shareefuddin were actual figures in history - linking their names is the lowest form of tactic makers can resort to for the sake of money-making! I'm sorry if it sounds really bad - but, for me this is akin to logon ka izzat bechke paisaa kamaanaa types. After, all isn't that what she is doing - only difference the 'log' in question are dead and can't dispute the stories the CVs have come up with!

So, can the makers of MB now start showing that Karna had a secret crush on Draupadi with a 'disclaimer' in the beginning!

I don't know if there are any existing family, any descendants of Jodha or Sharif or Jalal somewhere...then they can claim a legal battle against BT or EK.
Balaji is famous or rather infamous for such tracks specially when the leads are falling in love. The moment they were showing Jalal and Jodha slowly coming close together with such wonderful scenes like lunch date, the night talk and the song scene I immediately knew something is brewing, they must be bringing a huge twist to separate them! And lo and behold, I was right!

Oh yes in MB now they can show not even Karna but Duryodhan, Dusshashan, and every characters there having a crush on Draupadi! Some colorful carnal unfulfilled desire in Bhishma's life under the name of disclaimer!! Nothing is impossible!

I am happy I didn't watch a single episode of MB of BT. I knew it won't be MB but EK's figments of sick imaginations!

Let s not be hasty & jump to the wrong conclusions please. Already we ve had a couple of misleading promos previously, especially the Hawai promo where we vented our anger on Jodha for her foolishness, but in the end, that never materialised. Maybe the CVs themselves edited it out seeing our anger or maybe they d planned it that way from the first, that we dont know. Same way, this promo just might be an indication of the coming track, but for all we know, Jo & Ja s reactions to it might be completely the opposite of what we think. The CV s have sure surprised us many a time, by not following the same old paths followed in other shows & Ekta ll surely know what she ll have to face if she botches up now, & the limits of creative liberties to be taken in this historic , I d guess. So let s wait & watch & try to keep our calm till then. Am saying this as i feelingthat Ekta would nt dare to play dirty with such a great personage as Akbar & also partly bcos of some of the previous misleading promos.

No they are not showing anything like that in MB, Lashy and I were just talking about probable unthinkable tracks in name of disclaimer.

For me it is not just Sharif, Jalal knowing Jodha can't doubt or misjudge her character with any one be it Sharif, Sujamal or any one. He knows Jodha will give up her life rather than have an affair and that too get pregnant with that person's child. She will never such a heinous act. that is where my problem lies. If he didn't know her then it would have been ok but here he knows her by now, understands her and yet he will insult her thinking so.
And on the other hand imagine Jodha's explosion and outburst when she will hear this. What all she will say and think of Jalal!
Its a case of double edged sword!

I'm not prejudging Jodha's reaction or Jalal's reaction here...at this point, that's the least of my worries...my point is the crux of this track..an Emperor suspecting a wife of an illicit affiar in the 16th century has far-reaching consequences which the serial shall never be able to cover -its a deranged add-on when referring to actual historical characters (and definitely far more devastating than any other filmy track they've utilized)
