Sipping his coffee, Arnav in deep thoughts about Guptas, gazed at the thick clouds as sun set in orange hue behind them. After analyzing what he heard and what he saw yesterday, he was able to conclude that there is no doubt in old man's love for his daughter. What he is not able to understand is why Khushi is scared and hiding something from Arnav. He tried to think from all perspectives but he couldnt come up with anything that made sense. When he called few mins ago to Payal, she confirmed that Khushi left the college the same day when Shashi met Arnav for the first time in NewYork. She was taken away at young age, made her stay away from India and also taken away from NY; in all these 3 possibilites, Arnav was there, which means she is forced to stay away from Arnav and his surroundings. And the reason, beyond his understanding. He kept prompting himself to think what he is forgetting. He completely forgot the vital information his father written in his last letter.

He closed his eyes anxiously thinking all possibilities which is when Khushi came and sat on his lap. He opened his eyes with a bright smile as she sat pouting and cuddling on his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in the crook of his neck.

Good Morning! She drawled her words pecking his lips.

Good Evening! He said wrapping his arm around her waist.

You slept pretty much all day.

Really?

Who is stopping you? He chuckled as she lazily yawned.

Sachi. You tickled me with that beard and I woke up scared. She pouted.

With the beard? She raised her head and asked inquisitively.

Yup. My beard grew to 4ft length listening to your melodious snore since last night.

She punched his chest, resting her head on his shoulder. Shut up. I was tired.

Do you want to eat something?

I am hungry but I will freshen up first. Can you order something for me meanwhile? She lazily tried to get up from his lap when he pulled her back.

Dusting something off her shoulders, He spoke with glint of mischief in his eyes, We are almost there, should be landing in 40mins.

A shy smile crossed her lips as she understood what he meant. I will get ready fast. She got up to leave.

Still holding her hand, he suggested, I have arranged few summer dresses. Wear anything you like. And please come soon. He kissed her palm before he left her free.

Nope, I am going to take my own sweet time. She teased him as he blushed, pinching his nose.

Dressed in blue color strapless summer dress, she walked past him to settle by the window seat next to him.

As she moved all directions to grab the either ends of the belt, she lashed her wet tresses on his face. Wiping the wet drops, he cursed every sec leading to the delay in landing. He looked around and he wondered why he has so many problems all of sudden in his life.

Problem 1: Attendant who is sitting few feet away preparing for landing, watching his every move on his wife.

Problem 2: Last few mins of landing. He can neither do anything nor move out of the seat.

Problem 3: Lady sitting next to him, doing everything she can to ruin his senses with camelia and lily scent in deadly combination with wet locks.

Focusing his eyes on newspaper, We will have dinner as soon as we land. Have fruits if you cant wait. He said without looking at her.

She gave him a smile and wrapped her arms around his arm and pulled him to check the lights on earth that illuminated the city in view.

As the jet landed in Nadi, he grabbed her hand and asked if she is ready. She simply smiled as she couldnt manage to utter a word. They were soon led by Mark to a private dining at the waterfront restaurant.

As Mark immediately left them alone to transfer their baggage to Yacht, Arnav observed Khushi being unusually silent.

You eat scallops right?

She nodded Yes, again no words.

After he ordered food, Arnav took some time to observe her. From the moment they landed, she has been avoiding his eyes and basically nodding for everything without opening her mouth. He could tell that she is nervous with the way she fidgeted her fingers and the way subtly she shook her feet.

She never felt so nervous being with him the way she started feeling the moment they landed. The way he held her, radiating heat through his palms, every degree of heat screaming his desire running in his veins, shuddered her, worried her whats about to come. She is nervously excited as well etching to know what more surprises to come. She has experienced his gentle touch as well as his raw passion. Sweat broke on her forehead thinking how the night is going to be.

She took a generous sip of water as her lips started getting dry. His eyes narrowed looking at her passionately as he watched her the way she drank without lifting her lashes and wiped her mouth hurriedly.

He got up from his chair and pulled his chair next to her to ease her abit. He held her trembling hands in his and asked concernedly leaning onto her,

Whats wrong?

She smiled nervously and nodded Nothing.

Why are you so silent? Say something?

Woh..woh..I am fine...I...I thought we are going to Tadrai?

Tadrai is jus 30mins away by water. We will go there tomorrow.

She looked around thinking where they will be spending the night. I thought we should spend tonight in the Yacht. OK with you? He asked playing with her wedding ring.

She nodded and smiled again trying not to look at him.

Am I making you nervous by any chance?

No..No..I am just..I guess I am just hungry.

Are you sure?

Yes, I am fine. Her hands started sweating.

He grabbed the napkin and wiped her hands with cheeky smile on his face, I can see how fine you are! Let me know if you want us to take the return flight right away? He teased her making her go all red.

They ate their dinner pretty much having one way conversation and that too from Arnav side. She could barely speak registering nothing he said. She couldnt even eat properly as she felt stuffed even before their entree arrived.

Even after he persistently insisted her to eat something heavy, she put up puppy face nodding she doesnt want, only to hear his warning, Dont ask for food in the middle of the night. You will not get any! He shrewdly spoke as he spotted Mark coming towards them.

She threw the napkin on the table and left to washroom fuming and leaving him all smiles.

Mark, ready?

Yes Sir, everything ready.

Keys to the deck?

As Khushi was led to the dock to board Yacht he arranged, her heart felt heavy looking at the sight in front. She was well prepared that they will be spending the night in Yacht, pretty much non-sailing in the middle of the ocean the entire night and will resume in the morning to take them to their island but she never knew how beautiful and humongous is going to be the place where they both, just 2 people, will claim each other in few hours. She stopped her tracks at the foot of the dock as she looked at the SuperYacht lit in blue brightening the entire sky and port with its dancing laser lights. She narrowed her eyes to read the nose of the Yacht that had letter K engraved in its princely form.

She tilted her head and looked at him as he hugged her from behind. She wanted to ask him so many questions but her throat ditched her. She smiled a bit nervously, as her mind started thinking about the letter K, her heart felt heavy and overwhelmed silently praying what ever she is thinking should turn out false.

Dont tell me its...She couldnt ask what she wanted as her throat absolutely didnt co-operate.

Its YOURS. My gift for you for the special night. Do you like it? He asked encircling his arms around her belly, impatiently waiting for her reaction. He knew she loved it instantly and is too stumped to speak but he wanted to hear her say it.

Its breathtaking, phenomenal but you dont have to...He stopped her placing his finger on her lips.

He looked quite serious which brought smile on her lips. He tilted her head and reached for the corner of her lips and mumbled pecking them softly, I dont want anyone to replace the memories we are going to create in it. He wrapped his arm around her waist and led her to board as she couldnt take her eyes off of him. Someone said it right, everybody gets their share of joy and pain in their life time if they wait patiently with positive mind. She was through with anything related to pain. Its her only chance and time to be happy in his arms and not anywhere else.

I am just feeling overwhelmed with your chivalrous treatment of me. She mumbled as she stepped into another eternal place, the living room of the Yacht welcomed by the crew for the night.

Khushi, he turned her towards him at the entrance, piercing at her moist eyes, not caring who is around, I am a man who slogged and earned my keep for last 8 years only to take revenge from people and to get back what I lost. But now I wanna change the reason behind my earn. I wanna earn for you and flaunt it for you.

So get used to it, Sooner the better. Because I am not backing off. He grabbed the keys from Mark as he spoke the last sentence. Without waiting for her reply, he asked Mark. Are they in the room?

Khushi wondered who they are. But as Arnav led Khushi, her eyes gazed on the interiors of the living room. The whole ambience looked so pure and serene, untouched. This is definitely new, not used. She mentally thought as she smelled the fresh paint and warm wood and as brushed her fingers on the blue and white pillows that screamed calm and pure and extremely homely.

As they walked past the crew, he left her hand and she busily observed every detail of the decor. He knew sooner or later she will come up with her opinion, likes, and dislikes.

Are we in hurry? She asked with blush smile as she checked the contemporary collection of the vases and artwork hung on the wall.

Take your time. He said smiling leaning against the porcelain door.

As she finished walking through the living room and a sun room, she walked over to him to check whats behind the door he is leaning onto.

He gave up, he moved aside as he knew his argument will only delay the matters.

She dragged him out of the room as he lazily followed her.

They took plight of stairs to middle level deck which invited them with huge sectional sofa, a new set of stairs and glass doors leading to a covered room.

As she was about to take the stairs leading to roof top deck, he stopped her. Not yet. We will go there at the end.

Another surprise for me? She asked excitedly.

Ever since I saw you a month ago, my hormones are wretched up and started acting up weird and I am getting all these ugly spots which is why I am using those pills. Look here, there is one starting here, She tilted her head pointing her jaw bone to him and showed a lightly swollen pimple at the edge of her jaw.

He let out devilish smirk learning what effect he had on her. He leaned and placed a gentle open mouth kiss on the pimple and spoke huskily, Feeling better?

She blushed and nudged him shyly.

Lets go. He led her sporting wide grin on his face.
