From the moment that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were finalised for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela, rumours about the two being romantically involved started doing the rounds. While Ms Padukone has always remained mum or non-committal on the issue, RS has openly expressed his fondness for the leggy lass. In fact, not long ago in a recent interview, the flamboyant actor openly admitted that he was in love and though he did not disclose that special someone's name, it wasn't hard to figure out, hai na? But we found confirmation that the whole Deepika-Ranveer-in-a-relationship drama is just to promote their new film. So stop wasting your time wondering whether they are together or not - there is nothing there beyond two young, lively and good looking co-stars being friends. We say so coz our khufiya khabroo was listening in when the Chennai Express star was asked when she would break up with Singh. While anyone would have expected her to dodge the question as she always does, this time - surprisingly - she didn't, saying instead that the break up would happen as soon as Ram-Leela released. Yes, you heard that right!

Now we know that SLB's onscreen Ram and Leela share a sizzling chemistry, but wasn't it obvious that their link-up off screen was just a promotional strategy? After all, this is one trick that never fails to grab public attention. Remember the Ranbir Kapoor-Nargis Fakhri link-up during Rockstaror the Ranbir-Deepika coming closer again episode during Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani? But a film like Ram-Leela has all the ingredients to succeed on its own, so why do the stars need to use such a cheap publicity stunt - makes you wonder, hai na?

Now that the whole mystery around Deepika and Ranveer's relationship is clearly known, we do want to thank the female lead of Ram-Leela for giving us the answer we have waited to know.

PS: We are sure Mr Singh would have been on cloud nine if his oh-so-hot affair with the dimpled lady was indeed a reality. Better luck next time, mate
