The director, who made his debut with "I Hate Luv Storys", is currently busy promoting his second film "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

An unusual pair, isn't it?

"In the film, it is nicely established that Kareena is elder to Imran. They are an unusual pair. I wanted to work with Imran again (after 'I Hate Luv Storys') and the film was written keeping him in mind. As far as the girl in the film is concerned, only Kareena could have pulled off this role," he said.

"Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" is a romantic-comedy which explores romance between a party lover and high-on-life man played by Imran and a social worker portrayed by Kareena.

The film releases Nov 22.

She was elder to him in EMAET too. 😆

Is she elder to all the new comers in real life too? I'm assuming she is to Ranveer, ARK, Sid, Varun. How do I convince film makers to cast her with one of the above listed male actors? How?! :(

She would be perfect with Ranveer! She might look good with ARK too. Skeptical about Sid and Varun... They would be such kiddos next to her...

She does look older than most of the newcomers so her character will reflect that. Guys look way younger than their age sometimes.

Eww can't believe I wrote Varun! Lol! I meant to write Arjun Kapoor..got mixed up with the names there. Sid and her will look beautiful I think, same with ARK...Arjun and Ranveer have the rugged look going on for them so I think they would complement her greatly too! It's not fair how Parineeti gets to act opposite all of them..not fair at all! 😆 Kareena is one actress that leaves a lot to be desired..she has so much talent but it was never channeled properly. Here's me hoping that can still change. I do not want her to work with the Khans for the remaining of her time in Bollywood.

PS- just realized most current actresses are a bit older to all of the newcomer males we have. That is awesome!

If she can manage with Imran, she can manage with the newer lot. Imran has such a baby face.

Of all newcomers, she chose to take on the biggest challenge by trying to work this this guy. He looks like he's in his mid 20s lol.

Ranveer, Arjun, Sid all look much more mature!

kareena does NOT look old that she cant pull off a pairing with sid and varun. she can. they dont exactly look like thyere being bottle-fed, u know?

i actually look fwd to seeing her work with sid. probably just wishful thinking on my part 😆

I know eh, it's just wishful thinking on my part too for her to act with Sid, ARK, Ranveer, Arjun. Out of the four, she simply must act with ARK and Ranveer. ARK and her would look too beautiful together...while Ranveer and her would bring out just right amount of intensity. Hopefully if the Balaji-Dharma collab happens, they replace Emran (I like him but his days ain't numbered..) with Ranveer or Arjun.
