You know it was still fine to explain in EMAET...but not in this one. Both Kareena and IK are 30+ year old adults now and IK does not look that babyish anymore please!

As for the other newcomers...not much difference really...5-6 years with Kareena. Varun is probably the youngest. Arjun is 28! If you have to be concerned I would worry more about Alia and Arjun! Alia is 20 - a baby in comparison to 28 year old Arjun! And did I mention Sonakshi and Deepika with the Khans with absolutely no explanation? 😆

I don't think Deepika's age was explicitly mentioned but I do remember a scene where she was making fun of his age so the movie did make an effort to show that he's much older than her. Pretty much the only sensible thing in the whole movie 😆

^ Yes they did make an effort and that was nice in that movie. But then again, it won't be necessary in every movie as long as the story makes sure that they are not assuming the two people with big age gap to be the same age!

I was going to say the same thing. Kareena and Imran have only 3 year age gap..while the 40 plus actors act with the 20 and 30 year olds..they never mention the actors are older. Double Standard. 3 years is nothing. lol

I don't mind that they mention Bebo is older in the film but it just shows how bias Bollywood is towards actresses and their age!

And if Kareena doesn't look that much older than Imran I think she will look great with Ranveer and Sid since they look much masculine than the baby face Imran..body wise too they are bigger than Imran.

Bollywood is so misogynist. In fact, all of Indian culture is. Why is an explanation needed in the movie to explain Kareena's 2-3 years older? How does it matter? That's the same age range and it's completely normal. All the 50 year old men are off doing nautanki with girls young enough to be their daughters but nobody seems to mind that and nothing is said in the script either.

Punit Malhotra is an idiot for even talking about this as if he's doing something special. 😕
