Sanchi is KBs princess. Naturally everyone has to forgive her as fast as possible so that she can start whining for the next thing she has set her heart on. A scenario where no one forgives her hasn't even entered her head

Which is where I come to the Shekhars behaviour. Guilt is fine. But think sensibly. This is no time to sulk and give Sanchi the silent treatment. They, especially Ira needs to sit down with her and have a good, long talk- understand the way she thinks and what she thinks, understand why she did this and make a list of the flaws in character she has. Because clearly they don't know her at all. And that is entirely their fault
I am all for giving freedom to children which helps them grow as individuals. But freedom does not mean you cut them loose to wander about and stay blind to whatever goes on in their life.
EXAMPLE
A child comes asking for 50 Rs. You first ask the child why she needs it, then ask her if she really thinks this is necessary, gather her views on the matter and then you dole out the money giving her the choice to buy whichever type and choose the place she wants to buy it from. Later all you need to do is see that the money did go for the purpose it was intended for

That is called giving your child the freedom to decide and treating her as an adult

In Ira and Sanchi's case Ira probably doled out the money without a seconds thought to what it was going for. That's called stupidity

Trust in your children is a wonderful thing. But keep in mind that when a child grows up, he or she might not be the most mature of people and therefore an eye on her is always advisable . You don't need to be overly interfering to do that. Otherwise you end up with kids like Sanchi

Ira and Alok said that they were cheated. My POV is that they SHOULD have known. Aren't they ashamed to stand there and say that they didn't know the real character of the daughter they raised and looked after for 23 yrs?

Bachpana it seems. She is 23 yrs old, high past the time for Bachpana. Doesn't the fact that she still has "bachpana" raise red flags?She needs counselling, pronto!

I've been certain of the fact that the actress who plays Saanchi has some seriously powerful daddy dearest who is makin sure that she gets the maximum footage and can get away with insult, abuse, drama - as she sees fit and can't be made to grovel.
