"Haha...I think you loved me."She tries to smile
wipping off her tears,"But how come I forget that
we cannot escape the fact that I'n not enough for
you.I knew this was going to happen.So I'm not
blaming you for not falling in love with me.I am
not angry with you either.I should be,but I am
not.I just feel pain, a lot of pain.But I'm okay.I'm
okay."
"Ridz!"He stepped forward but she
restricted showing a signal flashing her palm.
"It is over Armaan!To me our love was
everything and you were my whole life.It is really
not very pleasant to realise that to you it was just
an EPISODE!!"
They both stared each other
as the world got mute with the last sentence.
He lowered his eyes and hangs his head
down.
She cries even more and left.He slowly
lifted his lashes only to see her dispersing figure
frozen into the dark cold foggy night.
TWO_YEARS_LATER
"Hey! One chocolate shake please."She ordered the man and adjuated herself on in the dining seat.
Next vision,she spot Armaan coming in with a cheek girl hanging off his arm like a snake.He is wearing a basketball gear and no doubt,it always appeared hot to her everytime.She blushes and closes her eyes at her thought.
"Ma'am your chocolate shake."Deleivered the boy.
"Oh thank you."
As the two beingly figures draw closer and closer,she tries to recoganise the girl off his arms as the lead of lasts week Drama class,"I guess he doesn't waste time."She ensconces herself.She tries not to let this bother her because she keep stressing to herself,Armaan dating other girls is completely out of her business.He is the same as he was two years ago.Of course,any girl,around his any part,head neck,hand ,arm shouldn't be an issue for her in any case.
But still she can't help her stubborn heart that seems to contradict with her mind and screams at Armaan,"Can't you unfold the truth.I still love you."
She again chases the figure ,"What happened to Armaan's choice?She is not that much pretty.Is she? Her cute little jeans shorts doesnt make her look sensible."This is kind of ridiculous of me to observe this but I can't help.But the the things that throws me out is that she is a nice girl and could be his type.But I am not jealoused at all."She sips her chocolate shake and keeps her busy reading her book as he looks her way.She tries not to be caught by the fact she have practically been judging the girl on his arms.
He waved a hand to her and turns towards the girls ears to whisper.She looks away as she doesnot want to catch him to kiss her there.
She derived her attention towards the bitter day to come in her life- her wedding.Yes, and she couldn't do anything.Her phone buzzed and she knew it was the eleventh call from her father.In order she has run away from her home from a period of time to figure out every mess about her life before she goes back and face them,"I am fine and am at friends home.""She texted back.
"Hey Ridz whats up?"
She knew it was him from his voice before he loojs at him.He settled next to her.To her surprise he is alone and the girl is nowhere to see around.
"Where is your girlfriend?"She sticks up.
He knitted his brows,"What girlfriend? Who girlfriend?"
"As if five minutes ealier a girl wasnt your side!"She thinks to herself.
"No...No thing...How is your Basket Ball pratice for the finals going on'"
"Its going superb! And teams speeding up at it.Claimed that this year trophy is ours."
"Hmmm means that cheerleaders are going to jump continously for our team. One more question,do your not so hot cheerleaders also come up for the pratice?"She narrowed her eyes.
"Hehe...no...but its not a bad idea..5This is already decided we are going to win so should better call off the cheerleaders to plan some special for this year."
"Special goes to the foot,when it would be fun to practice along with those pomp pomp jumping girls comes to your mind.Ridht?""Anyways grab your shake!"She catches her book to read.
"Why are you so addictive to the books right at the moment?Come on man!"
"Something to pass time...I guess!"
He narrows his eyes suspiciously,"Why do J get the feeling that you are lying and trying to be cool?"
"Argh...I hate it why he knows me so well."smiled her,"you first have your favourite chocolate shake finished,till then I complete my this page of reading."
He frowns bobbingly,and she almost smiles because he always look cute when he does that.
"Whats chance upon? Why?"
"What?"
"Whats wrong Ridz?You have been in this funk from the last two days.Don't think I am a fool"
"I supposed that you are..still you haven't realised I love you."She whispers such that he could not listen.She knitted her eyebrows and being rude,"Whats now?Can't you be silent for a while.Don't disturb I am reading my book.It is nothing like what you always think!"
"Hmm yeah...you are right.I wonder what is the newtechnique of reading the book holding it inversely."She clicked her tongue releasing she was caught due to her stupid mistake.
He gives her genuine concern look,to which she pursed her lips and gathers lot of couarge to confront the truth,"Armaan...actually...I...Armaan.."
But the another girl comes walking and calls Armaan.
"Hey Armaan! Could I talk to you?"She passed a look to her to which reacted the same.She was taken aback by this.
"I am little busy..Could it wait?"He brushed her off and Riddhima smiles as she knows she will always be her priority.
He looks at her,"Yes..Ridz...What were you saying?"
The girl murmered,"Armaan I am talking to you...And who is this?"She says pointing in her direction.Riddhima stood up to go as she beleived now its time for Armaan and his other girlfriend to have some koo chi boo..For a another new surprise,he held her arm and made her sit along back the seat scrunching her hand,"She is Ridz...My girlfriend."
"What?"The girl shrieked.
"Ridhima's heart flee out when he addressed her"his girlfriend".What did he just say.I am his girlfriend?"She could not digest it and her mind got popped.
"Yeah..So would you mind to give us some privacy...You know..some ...personal ...talks.."He made a cute face,which led the girl wrinkling like the 100 year old cloth and stormed out from there.
When she went,Riddhima slapped him on his shoulder.
"What was that for?"He groans rubbing his shoulder.
"For being the same flirty you were years ago."She gathers her stuff from the table,"Bye I am going!"
"What? Where are you going?Why are you so pissed off?"
"I am not."She gritted.
"Is this about me calling you girlfriend?Because you know it was just a joke to send that jerk out."
This made her to punch him on his eye to give him a blue mark or cry at the moment because he copletely ruined it,"Why you can't keep me aside from your stupid girls list?"
"Okay...It was just a way to send her off... Now would you mind to carry your...Armaan I...Actually I...Armaan... Talk"He mocked her sentence with the funny expressions.
She narrowed her eyes covering it with frown,"Just forget it...I have to go..."
"I know you are keeping simething from me because you have this cute little wrinkle when you are in worry.."He grabs her hand and gives her that same look,according to Riddhima,he was perfected in,two years ago.He stepped one step closer holding her from shoulders,"I am sorry.. Is that right?"
She looked in his eyes and he continued,"Out of the million girls,you are my number number one...And will always going to be.So I think,(shrugging his shoulders and pressing his lower lip out)it doesn,t matter of cracking stupid jokes to prefer you over others.You are my family,you know that."Her stomach did a flip flop for a second in excitement because she hardly ever see his smile.
And she marvels at the single dimple on his cheek,"And you love me,I know that."As he completed,she groaned when he hugged her in his arms tight.A tear of curse escaped from her eye,wishing what Armaan said he would have meant it heartedly.
"Armaan...Hey"They parted as another girlfriend of Armaan shrieked and they both just laugh looking at each other.
"Armaan bye! Your girlfriend is calling you.And have fun praticing.I have to go,will talk later."
"Are you sure,you are fine?"
"Yes Armaan bye!"She smiled.
"Bye! Having another date with my new butterfly tonight!"He winked at her and he left.
Riddhima was just glaring at his dispersing figure and she whispered,"I love you Armaan!"and she clutched her bag tight and eft that place.
What Armaan said was an untruthful truth and what Riddhima feels a truthful truth.But it doesn't matter that he called her his number one girl,because in reality,they are nest buddies and always going to address each other "JUST A FRIEND"
