This is what our esteemed politicians get when they are finally found guilty by the court. When they actually see jail - they remember all their illnesses and happily skip jail and pack off to a nice cushy A/c hospital and get good treatment and comfy quarters AND sYMPATHY for FREE.

Sanchi first deserves severe punishment for her crimes and later as part of her therapy - needs to write long letters seeking forgiveness from those she has brutalised.

And for life - she needs to be barred from being close (same city is too close) to those she has harmed.

i respectfully disagree..am a psychiatry resident in final year, and believe me, i know what am talking about.. her character seems to be having a personality disorder, with really indulgent parenting.. therapy for these cases, is long and tedious, not only for her, coz she would never accept her faults, but for her family as well..its what we call "dialectic behaviour therapy", which aims at dealing with the core issues of insecurity..

but at the same time, her behaviour cannot and shud not be condoned by calling it a disorder.. her judgement is intact, and she is well aware of what she does and the consequences..she just does not care about them..if she commits a crime, she shud be punished for it..

Nice to know you are a student of psychiatry. Yes she has no disorder; she is just evil. But why? Nobody is a criminal by birth and we got bigger criminals in this country.

I would call DS a criminal torturing the child Anandi and arranging remarriage of Jagdish even after Anandi risked her life for him. If she could change then why can not Sanchi? Why she can not be accepted by the society?
