I was watching this television show and they had like a 7/8 minute scene of why people shouldn't smoke cigarettes . And I'm like why would they do that on a freaking sitcom. Sitcoms are supposed to be funny and this isn't funny it's just lame . Then I got to thinking and lots of movies do that . Especially these days Indian movies . And what's the use of telling people to follow a cause or lead their life's in certain ways . Lots of people will still make bad choices . And lots of these movies are sooo boring .

Well that's how I'm wired . What does everyone else think ???????

Also if y'all need me I'm about to goto do something crazy with mannequins and fish hooks

the announcement is not about public service, I think its social responsibility.

India has banned smoking scenes in movies and television shows, and filmmakers for about a year have been required to show health warnings on screens whenever a character smokes in a film.

Typically, a smoking scene would include a text insert at the bottom of the screen warning of the dangers of tobacco use. This is in addition to anti-smoking and anti-tobacco ads that run before films begin.
