With Saif I think it works particularly well, like it did with Vidya and Rani.

Sonakshi also has an earthy very desi qualily that contrasts with Saif.

Why should he quit if he can still act?

If that were the case, Ajay Devgn would've quit a long time ago. This film isnt about looks. It's action and performance oriented.

looking at Sonakshi, just had a thought ...why doesnt Sooraj barjatya cast her, she and Salman look good together and she can act well too given the script. Plus she totally fits the bill of traditional looking girl.

ya well, one is still supposed to look presentable. And frankly, he has no spark left. he used to look good and act well in omakara, race days. He lost his mojo long time back..and i have no idea what this movie is about, i thought it was another Dabaang wanna be..and neither do i care. If it is supposed to be performance oriented , then good for him caz that might be the only saving grace from being it a flop.
