PART 6:

The team plans for the final face off. It was not tough to get Rehan out of custody this time. The Minister made sure of that.

Ar: iss bar mien aapse kuch aur bhi mang raha hu sir.

Min: kaho.

Ar: give us permission to take action according to the need. Baadme bohot zyada safai dena mushkil hoga.

Minister thinks for a while. Arjun's reputation said he would do it even without the consent.

Min: ok...

Ar: thanks sir.

He moves Rehan to ETF custody. He was kept under constant surveillance.

The team makes plans.

Ai: sir isme khatra bohot hai. we don't know how much Arman have thought about it.

Ar: so does he.

That silences all the doubts. Time was getting closer.

By almost 5 am the whole team with Arjun, Aisha, Sakshi, Chotu and Liza reaches the dock. With them were Rehan and Asad who were handcuffed.

Arman came forward with Sree held on one hand and a gun on another. Sree's steps were not strong enough as he was too tired.

Arman: good job ACP. Ab unke handcuffs kholo.

Arj: pehle Sree ko...

Arman: you don't have an option to bargain ACP. Jaldi karo.

Arjun asks Chotu to open the handcuffs. Rehan and Asad smirks at Arjun.

Reh: kaha tha na ACP ke abhi bhi toofan baki hai. ab dekhlo.

Ar: zyada udne ke khwab math dekho Rehan. Gir jaoge.

Arman: abhi bhi ball hamare court me hai, firbhi ithna bharosa? Not bad ACP. Tumhe kya laga ke tum hamare peet piche apne logonko laoge, aur hum shak nahi karenge?

Arj: mujhe patha tha ke tum ye bath sochke rakha hoga. Apne bhi aadmi laye hoge. Har kadam humse aage lene ke koshish jo ki hai. its natural to think upto it.

Arman: tho fir deri kis bath ki? Bhai aur Asad ab tumhare samne azaad hai. aur tum chahke bhi kuch nahi kar sakthe. apne admi ko bulado aur hamare bhi ayege. Par dhyan rahe... (he stress the gun on Sree's temple) ye nahi bachega.

Arjun takes sometime for him to compose. Rehan and Asad walks to Arman smirking at Arjun and his team. They can't move as Sree is still at gun point. Asad and Rehan reaches Arman. His men and ETF backup officers take positions.

Arm: good job ACP!! Par bas ithne logonko hi laye ho? bohot kam hai...

Arj: ye kafi hai.

Arjun, Aisha and Chotu had their already in their hands but pointed down all this time. a wrong move could affect Sree's life.

Arman: tumhe kya laga, hum tum sabko chodne wale hai. never. Today is the end of ETF.

Now all guns were pointed. Arman let Sree fall on his knees as it was too tough for him to stand still. Gun was still pointed at Sree but now from a distance.

Re: bye to the team... that were known as the best. Bura lag raha hai ke...

That line never finished as a shot rang in the air. Arman's gun fell from his bleeding hand. A moment of distraction and another shot rang... Arman is dead.

Arjun just took a second to snap back and see the source.

ACP Sameer Rathod.

The distraction was enough... fires rang in the air from all sides. Arjun's and Chotu's shot made Rehan and Asad to move away from Sree who was about to collapse on ground.

As decided before Sakshi and Liza moved to Sree and pulled him off from spot along with a commando help.

Men guarded their place and shot along.

Many things happened among the shot. Rehan and Asad never knew that Arjun had showed only half of his battalion on spot. Rest half were waiting for an opportunity. Soon they outnumbered others.

After much of firing in the air, that included causality and death on both sides, bullets that had grazed past Arjun and Aisha, dead Asad and much more... Rehan was now at Arjun's gun point.

Arj: ab tumhe dhoondke aur koi aaye... uska intezar mien nahi kar saktha. So...

2 shots came out that gave Rehan instant death. Men took over and everything was sorted by the start of the day light.

Sameer and others rushed to Sree who was now being tended by Liza and Sakshi. A smile crept up at Sree's lips when he saw Sameer.

"sir... aap... wapas... agaye..."

Sameer smiled back. "Relax. You need it"

He turned back at Arjun and Aisha whose wounds were taken care too.

Arj: tum?? Yaha kaise?

Sam: pure team ko invitation mila tha... tho mien kaise nahi athe?

He turns to Aisha. "thanks for the tip, Aisha"

All look at her with questioning face, while Sakshi was smiling.

Arj(in mind): I should have guessed it...

Sameer moves to Arjun. "congrads"

Ar: kis bath keliye.

Sam: apne promotion keliye.

Ar(sarcastically) jo promotion meine liya hi nahi... uskeliye kya congrads?

He keeps his eye contact with Sameer. He had missed it for sometime now. then he moves away as if watching over the surrounding and with a I care a damn' attitude.

Arj: wo cabin abhi bhi khali hai. aur mujhe ye idhar udhar shift karna pasand nahi hai.

Eyes pops out of Sakshi, Chotu and Liza. Sree's eyes were too tired to come out. So he rested his head back to the wall of the paramedic van.

Ch(in whisper to the trio) ye invitation tha ya gaali?

Sa(whispering back) invitation hi tha. Par Rawte style me.

Sameer knew it well too. He just tucks back his gun and goes too Sree and team. "apna khayal rakhna"

And then he turns to go, but was called back by a voice.

Aisha: Sir...

He stops his steps and turns to her. "mujhe bhi mere kaam adhura chodne ka aadat nahi hai. jo shuru kiya hai, usse khatam karthe hai... will be back... very soon... kisiko shift karna pasand nahi hai na...?"

A smile lingers in his lips and then turned to Arjun who was still facing opposite to them.

Sameer just briefly looks at Aisha, smiles and walks away.

Some moment later:

Arj: team... Sree ko rest ke zaroorath hai. baki sab, get back to office. paper works abhi bhi baki hai.

Sak: aur minister saab se kya kahenge? About Rehan?

Arj: shot dead in an encounter... full stop.

He puts back his glares and walks away.

An hour later: in Mumbai Airport inside a flight to Delhi.

He was in thoughts for a long time now. He could feel himself happy. At last he decided to call. An airhostess came to him. "sir, we are about to take off. Please switch off your mobiles"

Sam: I'll just take a moment. Its emergency.

"ok sir..."

He dials a number and then.

Sam: hello sir... Rathod here.

Comm.: yes Rathod, tho kya socha tumne?

Sam: shayad aap sahi keh rahe the, sir.

Comm.: see, I told you. At last tumhe samajh aahi chukka hoga... ke tumhare jagah Mumbai me hi hai. ETF needs you.

Sam: I get it sir. and I'm ready. Jo kaam shuru ki hai, usse khatam karke wapas athe hai.

Comm.: good to hear that. aur tumhe patha hoga... I want you back in ETF for more than one reason.

Sam: I know sir. Most important, hum Rawte ko wo level 5 clearence abhi nahi de sakthe. Its not time yet...

Comm.: you are right Rathod. Jab thak sahi information mile, usse andhere me hi rahna hoga. Warna... thabahi hoga...

Sam: yes sir. (in mind: aur wo hard disk me bhi usse kuch nahi mila hoga. I have already taken care of that before itself)

He smiles thinking of the frustrated look when Arjun have not found anything useful in it. He may be the Rawte', but he was also an old Arjun, whom he knew inside out once.

Comm. sir breaks his thoughts.

Comm.: tumhe wapas aana hoga Rathod. Jithna bhi tum dono ye bath inkar karne ke koshish karo... its still the fact, you guys need each other.

Sameer is silent.

Comm.: come back, tumhe ek nahi balki bohot sare logonko insaaf dena hai. Arjun and Roshni... and yourself too.

Sam: I'll be back soon sir. Jai Hind.

Comm.: Jai Hind.
