She read the letter at least four to five times and hugged it tightly sniffing and feeling so blessed to have him in her life. She remembers the day till now four years from now when he said those magical words to her she just froze at her place and it felt as if she had conquered the entire world. He was standing there with open arms just for her this time. It was her rightful place and without wasting another second she ran and hugged him tight with tears of joy shinning in her eyes like pearls.
Beep Beep
The sound of her cell brought her back to the present world and she checked it was message from Samrat asking her to hurry up and come quick as he's being impatient to see her. She smiled at his desperation and quickly went to the wardrobe to find another surprise for her wrapped in a white box with a tag saying "For you wifey" with a heart on it. She opened it only to find a red coloured saari in it with a note.
The note said:
"Red symbolizes love no? Haha Well for me any colour that you wear is love it defines love for me ab kya karein hamari begum hain hi itni pyaari. Ok now come soon. Love you! Muah!!
She blushed at his comment and took the beautiful saari it was simple with a little beads work spread all over it but still it was eye catching. She quickly went in to change and came back to do last touches as she always hated makeup just a lip gloss and red earrings that she found with the saari. Looking at herself last time in the mirror she took her purse and drove off to her destination.
It was indeed a beautiful place she could tell it from its entrance a huge gate in between of two date trees. She walked in only to find a red carpet beneath her feet with rose petals on it. She was busy in admiring the place when a guy came behind her and called out to her politely and with all due respect.
"Mrs Shergil?" He asked her.
"Yes". She replied.
"Sir is waiting for you at the pool side Ma'am". He informed her politely.
"Thanks and the directions?" She asked.
"Take a right turn then a left and after that walk straight there you will find him". He briefed her and left.
Gunjan smilingly left to meet her curious husband and was surprised to see not a single soul in that area in fact no one was there in the entire resort she shook her head helplessly and sighed at the height of romantic germs that were inside him but she always loved it.
Loved all his gestures and sweet things he used to do for her always making her feel loved and blessed to have him in her life. It was not like he has recently started doing all these things which she calls stupid only to tease him and to see that cute annoyed face of his but instead he does all of those back from their college days when they were friends even.
She remembers their first meet even as Bhavesh he made her feel special though it was just a mask behind her actual hero Samrat but still she only felt comfortable with him that was his charm on her from their very first meet.
She reached near the pool side thinking of their beautiful memories when suddenly she saw lights going dim and beautiful candle stands floating on water making the environment romantic. Roses and orchids were all over the place making it look all the more enchanting!!
She looked deeply towards the furthest side that her vision could allow but no signs of her husband were to be found. There where was he? The keeper himself told her that Sir is waiting for then where's he gone? She was searching him here and there near the pool side.
"I love you", she heard his husky voice filled with love and she turned to see him in a black three piece suit with a bow nicely placed on the coat. He was looking dashing and smart as always with his charming smile casting a magic on her. She smiled back and ran towards him and hugged him tight and whispered slowly. "I love you too". He wrapped his arms possessively around her making her feel secure in his embrace. She closed her eyes and they both stood there in each other's embrace for what seems like eternity.
They broke the hug and Samrat cupped her face to wipe off the precious pearls that were dropping from his wife's beautiful eyes. He kissed her forehead with all the love and passion he has for her and she felt as if she was in her own world where only love exists.
"Thank you". She managed to say only this much. He took her hands in his and promised her something that defined his pure love for her.
"Thank you bol kar sharminda mat karo meri jaan kyun k agar main thank you bolne par a gaya na tou subah ho jaye gi aur tab bhi shayad mein thank you hi bolta reh jaun ga. Aj aik wada karta hoon Chashmish k hamesha tumhara saath dunga akhri saans tak tumhein chahun ga. Us din poocha tha tumse k kya banao gi mujhe apni zindagi ka hissa aur aj poore haq se keh raha hoon aur koi option nahi hai aur agar hai bhi tou jaane dou". He laughed while Gunjan hit him on his chest.
"I love you Samrat...tum jesa koi bhi nahi..koi bhi nahi. Tum har din merey liye kuch naya aur special karte ho har pal ko merey liye yaad gar bana dete ho. Itna pyaar dete ho k kabhi kabhi der lagta hai tumhein khone se kyun k Samrat k bagair uski Chashmish je nahi sakti. Tum mujhe poora karte ho Samrat zindagi ko aik naya matlab dia hai tumne". She said the last line by biting her lowe lip in order to control her falling tears and lowered down her eyes.
"Meri bhol bhali Chashmish". Saying so he shook his head and smiled. Within no more time she was in his arms. He picked her up like he would probably pick up their baby as for him she has the innocence and the charm of a baby that can capture anyone's heart and secondly she needs to be handled with care and love that he will always shower on her.
They walked to their bedroom which had dim lighting and was beautifully decorated with flowers as Gunjan loved flowers and why not she was also delicate like a flower. Gunjan looked at her surroundings excitedly with a wide smile playing on her lips and he stared her smiling at her.
"Kya hua?" She asked confused.
"Kuch nahi..." He nodded head in negative.
He wanted her to always stay like this forever and just hugs her whispering "You know what you are the best always stay like this Chashmish I promise I will never let anyone harm you". She smiles and replies in a soft whisper,"Mr.Handsome Shergil you know what you are such a flirt na and please always stay like this as I love your sweet gestures". Samrat immediately breaks the hug and fakes anger saying. "Acha so you don't love me haan?" Gunjan smiles and sits beside him on the bed "You really think so?" She questioned back. He looked deep into her eyes and instead of answering put another question before her "Do you think I can ever question your love for me? She just bend forward and kissed him on his cheek and after that both lay on the bed in each other's embrace. Her head on his chest while he wrapped rams around her and they lye there in each other's embrace having the feeling of being with each other and that was enough for them to live their entire life with each other.
They slept while sharing the golden memories of the day when finally two lost hemispheres found their actual place that was in each other's heart. It was a time when two restless hears got solace on finding the other. It was one of the most memorable time of their lives...a time of celebration...celebrating love with tears of happiness in eyes and Diwali crackers bursting all over the place making the occasion all the more special for them. Everything was celebrating the togetherness of these two souls as it was sure that this togetherness will last for eternity.
Indeed it will be reserved in their hearts forever and today Samrat did it again and made her feel special like he always does and it was probably her wish today and she knew he will fulfill it just by taking care of even of her smallest wish. Sajan's love and the ways with which they express it is unique and special in its own way.
