After the MC, we were shown how Jalal started changing his view on Rajputs and especially Jodha. Till then the relationship he got into Rajput was mainly to show them that they are helpless without the Mughal support. In a way to bend them and show his power. He did have a bigger goal of ruling the entire India. But, he did not realize that marrying Jodha would actually show him a way that would make his dream a reality. His intentions were also to humiliate Jodha and make her a priced but captive possession. But after the MC, his respect, understanding and admiration for Jodha started increasing. The 'guroor ko todna hai' statement was completely forgotten. Instead he is in the phase where no matter what Jodha does/says he will not lose his temper.
The Amer phase is where Jodha is slowing changing from Kadvi to Meethi. The bitterness is still there, to some extent its just her nature (LOL, teekhi mirch also) and the other part is Jalal constant teasing comments. She took a first tiny step of trust by sharing the bed with Jalal. Mind you this place was close to Amer and hence the Ameri air did some magic. Jalal should always take his nakchadi begum to Amer when she is getting out of control. She was tricked to some extent, but I felt she did not really mind sharing a room with Jalal in Amer. She is concerned about his wounds and does not even mind asking him to remove his JAMA. She covers it up by calling it as 'bapusa chinta, prem'. Jalal the dumbo does not understand that everything cannot be told in words. Specially when Jodha is going thru the 'thodi kadvi thodi meethi' stage. She is even concerned about MA's warning of Jalal visiting the temple, his sleeping with so many kids, etc.
It was such a gharelu scene when Jodha gets the kheer to Jalal and asks him to share it with her as told by her dadisa. Jalal is right in stating that Amer does have some magic in air as she seems to be caring for him more now. She tries to cover it up as giving prasad in Agra also. Jalal lost a golden opportunity of being fed by Jodha's hand. Her meetha act of trying to feed him by the spoon was lost because Jalal is lost. He is completely bowled over by the rajputi aan shaan baan! He comes back to reality when he sees Jodha's angry face. Jodha's description of PRC was mindblowing and Jalal did not feel insecured at all. Only a brave confident man can praise or see other people being praised for their bravery. Jodha is so lost in the praise that she does not realize that she is bringing down the Mughals. Her sweet nature is back here and she apologizes for hurting Jalal's sentiment. Jalal only praises her again for using the right words to hit the target even without a bow&arrow. Jodha yet again does not get the praise and retorts bitterly. Jalal has become so accepting these days, he hardly gets mad at Jodha. I was so mad when I found out about Jodha suicide track. I guess it was important for Jalal to understand her pain and loneliness. I don't know what Jalal will have to do to get that kind of understanding from Jodha. I thought the kali Maa temple should have done that. But, our nakchadi ghamandi Jodha ke liye itna kafi nahin hai. I had told Shaguni bai sometime back in one of my old reviews - aap saanap, ghuspet, sher, haathi, bhookump bheje. She is sending the haathi soon, next is bhookump. Hope the bhoomkump shake will bring some sense in Jodha and CVs.
Jodha did not seem that displeased with the green dress nor with the fact the Jalal had chosen it for her. Are you trying to prove that it was not you in Jalal's story, the shehazadi who hated the green color? She even explains to her mom how Jalal was raised in Rajvanshi house. She has this pride in her eyes as she knows more about Jalal. How different is this Jodha before Sukanya's wedding from the one we saw before her wedding. I would give full marks to JALAL for making this happen. Who would have thought, the emperor of Hindustan who hated Jodha could bring about this change in Jodha. I was sad to see that Jodha did not apologize for her past deeds and neither did she acknowledge that it was a mistake to burn the shadi ka joda. Instead she feels that she cannot change MA's soch, you see her soch is more high class. I am NOT a supporter of 'tit-for-tat', so did not like MA's act of burning the joda. But, I was very disappointed yet again with Jodha not realizing her mistake. Atleast MA had the decency of NOT burning it in front of everyone.
I love MP, the historical figure. But, I love the serial Jalal (RT) more and want him to win the game tomorrow. I wonder if MP and Hamida will ever change their clothes. After few days the smell of the old sad clothes will project out from the TV into all our houses - arrggghhh! RB is so scared of MP and Jalal aamna samna, his efforts to keep them apart is not working at all. Jalal will have to give away his dear palace yet again to please his angry begum Jodha. You have to give away lot more, take lot more injuries and who knows what all before getting a complete meethi Jodha.
Precap: Jalal admiring Jodha in green, he likes her the most in this color. The reason is not because it suits her or she looks pretty in it, its because he wants her to completely accept the marriage and mughal culture. He feels her wearing this color is a tiny step in that direction and hence the happiness. He is being extremely patient with her, just waiting for her to accept him! I am very sad, we are not getting a LIVE telecast of the bedroom sleeping arrangements. May be after the haathi attack? BTW Jodha, please don't tell Jalal that you wore this green dress because of Maasa prem. You see our Jalal needs words or actions that tell him you are accepting the marriage. Please don't make him more jealous of your family!
