Then what the heck was he supposed to do? Marry her? The Shekars want their daughter married to the guy she's obsessed to at all cost knowing that incompatibility exists and luckily it has been sensed before marriage, they want it to go on knowing the guy doesn't love her. Just what should Jagya have done? Married that silly girl.

The day the rishta came, Sanchi was busy begging him "don't leave me Jagdish, or I'll die"...DS threatened him not to do anything which hurts Anandi's happiness, he told the Singhs I want to speak with Anandi, he looked at the Shekars and asked if they they thought this over, SUmitra, DS everyone warned Jagya not to do anything which will burden Anandi. He thought Anandi is there, she must be endorsing this rishta, his family also felt the same thing so he agreed to it. Sumitra fell in love with Sanchi immediately...

Basically everything was done quickly and in haste in order to create drama, even his breaking off the rishta which rly pushed TRPs up was all done to create lots of drama.

Jagya was never into it from day one. I wish he should have refused clearly earlier. He was deffo wrong there.

The enagement these shameless people said only Jagia can orrect or chNge Sanchi.

But their behaviour definitely shows that they knew her strange behaviour and glad to marry her

Off to the easiest bhakras. Otherwise they shoud be delighted at J breakin the engagement

Because any how they did not like J and expecting him to say no to the engagement.

So he said no to marriage which is perfectly valid in civilized world.

Jagya is not a manipulator in this situation atleast. But the Doctor Sahab is point blank foolish, impulsive and short-sighted.

The whole idea of this wedding was ridiculous. By giving anandi the idea of finding a bride for him, he made the biggest mistake ever.

This was an arranged marriage and at best a one sided obsession. Shekhars including Ira were against this decision , they should have stood firm on it or atleast let Singhs' sleep over it. I feel there sudden and too formal rhishta talks put Singhs' on the spot and they just didn't know how to deal with the Saasra of their daughter. They manipulated the proposal that in a way saying a out-right no was difficult. And JAgya being foolish and still under the influence of Anandi agreed to it , so that her marriage should not be affected.

After realizing Sanchi's truth , he should have first called Bhairon and told him about his desire of not marrying Sanchi and let the families settle it . But I have a feeling the arrogant Shekhars' would have bullied them more. But for what ever reason , before leaving for Mangalore, he should have given his father an idea about why he has broken the relation. His doing it all alone was wrong.

And the most ridiculous decision was to marry Ganga in haste.

The way this marriage was orchestrated by Shekhars' it was next to impossible for Singhs' to back out of it at any stage.
