Me: Gul Aren't you worried that TRPs are going down for QH ?
Gul: I have said it again and again, this was a very risky show. I tried to sell it for years, nobody was willing to buy it. I am showing something very different and Unique . I am sticking to my guts.Also right now we are very stable. And we expected this . Now since ZoYaan has been established. The audience will enjoy the drama ahead.
Me: Gul, what is the purpose of Zoyaan.
Gul : smiles a very cryptic smile. ZoYaan was always a part of the narrative.
Zoya the main protagonist has to bring the warring families together. She needs to know both the families upclose. She had her stint at the KV, now she needs to know people at SM, or else how will she bring them closer ?This ZoYaan will help Shireen get her own identity, it is important for Shireen to break away from GhaZia. Ghazia started all this . Zoya will have Shireen and Dadi on her side. Shireen would never favor anyone but Ayaan's wife . Zoya will form a bond with Humeira also. These close relationships will help her in bringing down Razia.
Me: But Zoya could have gone in SM without being Ayaan's wife ? Like after knowing the Abbu truth.
Gul : AsYa were too far ahead in their relationship. If given a choice Zoya would not have left Asad , she gave up the search of Abbu for being with Asad. She had made a choice long back, Asad was her priority. Their separation had to be forced and circumstantial.She just slipped like sand and he was not able to hold on to her. Zoya can form a relationship with SM crowd without knowing any raaz.Had the Abbu truth been out, Rashid, Shireen ,especially Badi B and Humeira would have interacted with her differently. Now she can form a relationship with them, without any preconceived notions.
Me: Dadi, What the hell happened to her ?
Gul: again that smile. Love has its reasons of which reason knows nothing about.
Zoya needs a very strong ally at SM. You know why Dadi is doing this ? Because she does not know the minute details of AsYa's relationship. At 70 + , what else can be expected from her ?For her , Zoya is Ayaan's wife and she considers it her duty to protect her. Moreover Enemy's Enemy is our friend applies here. Dadi was also responsible for what happened 17 years back , this is her redemption track .Also ZoYaan have not told anybody that this marriage is a sham.
Me: Will AsYa and AyRa unite ?
Gul : In Indian soaps Mohabbat sirf ek baar hoti hai , you fall in love once. Second time is a compromise. All four of them have found true love.
