Update for Wed Feb 28-2007(episode 110)
The story is certainly hotting up both in the romance angle as well as the suspense angle!
Scene 1
Adhi talking to Venky who is literally shivering in front of her. She says for what you have done, I should give a suitable punishment and there is 6x3 feet pit dug behind the guest house and I can bury you alive.
But she says she will not do that because she has some gratitude towards him for helping her in business to make huge money. Hence she decided to do something she has never done to anyone--she decided to forgive him.
Venky thanks her and starts to leave but she calls him saying loudly "Ey" (Well Adhi at her best today and she uses this word in a commanding way!)
Venky comes back and she tells him that she is not a fool to let him go and make the land deal and get all the money. She asks an adiyal to come and bring a affidavit and asks Venky to sign it. Venky signs the documents and she tells him to come at 10 in the morning to sign the transfer papers in the Registrar's office.
She warns him of dire consequences if he does not turn up. She says she will find him out wherever he goes.He starts to leave and again she shouts "Ey" and he looks up and she tells him to take away the gift box.
Scene 2
Venky in his 2nd wife's house and she asks him what you are going to do now. Are you going to sign away the title to the 40 acres of property,she asks.
Venky says he is not going to do that and why I could not tell her in that way was because it was her place and she could have done anything there and I could not have done anything there.
He says he will not go to the Registrar's office but then she asks how will you escape Adhi because she has people everywhere and she will not allow you to sell the property. Venky laughs and says he will get the help of Adipadam for that. She now says this Adipadam is very loyal to Adhi and how he will ditch her.
Venky says everyone has a price and Adipadam also has a price and he further says he will not stay in his home anymore and will stay henceforth in a place where he can't be traced and that is this house and hence he will stay here only.
Scene 3
Adhi waits with driver Thomas in the registrar's office but he does not turn up. She asks Thomas to find out from Registrar whether Venky has at least made arrangements for the transfer. But Thomas checks with the Registrar and says no arrangements have been made.
She is at the height of fury when a road side astrologer pesters her and says this is a bad time for her. She gets more angry and threatens to call police if he does not stop talking.
Finally Venky does not turn up and Adhi has to go back.
Scene 4
Adhi in a very angry mood and dials Venky's mobile and his home number but gets switched off/engaged on those numbers.She calls Adipadam and enquires about Venky but AP says Venky did not come to office.
Now Selva returns home to the surprise of his mother who is still in an angry mood.
He is still limping and she asks him why you returned so early. He says he got bored for the last 3 days and hence he decided to discharge himself from the hospital.(Why he can't say he came back because nithila did not come for 3 days!)
Selva says he has realised Magila was after his money only and he says he did a big mistake by believing her and he says sorry to his mother for talking to her harshly thinking that she might have had a hand in Magila's disappearance.
Adhi says you are my son and we want you to be well and only because she had lots of business commitments, she could not come to hospital and asks him to excuse her for that.She asks him only because Kalpana took good care of you that you recovered so fast. She again asks him Kalpana cared for you well, no? Selva looks doubtful but says yes, she cared but before he could say further, phone rings and Jeeva is on the line. Adhi gives him the good news that Selva has come and Jeeva can't control his joy.Adhi says with great difficulty we have managed to remove Magila from his mind and now you will have to convince Kalpana for the marriage and that is clearly your job,she says. Jeeva agrees and Adhi wants to give the phone to Selva but he has left already.
Scene 5
Selva at Nithila's door limping and knocking on the door. Adhi smells a rat and comes in trace of him and finding him here gets angry and asks him what he is doing here. Selva says he did not see Nithila for 3 daysand hence he wanted to see her. Adhi says may be she might be busy attending interviews and hence every busy and she dials Jeeva's number and tells Selva that he should speak to his him immediately because he was enquiring about you.
Selva disinterestedly says there is nothing to talk to uncle. She says at least tell him that I am here and how are you. Selva takes the phone and juyst says the same few words and keeps the phone down. Now he says he will wait for Nithila.
Adhi's patience is at the edge now and now Sundara comes in his car. Adhi tells him that it is your job to bring back Selva from here and so saying she goes back.
Sundara tells Selva that when Nithila comes she definitely pass by our house and that time I myself will tell you, he assures Selva and tells him to come back home.
Scene 6
Kalpana returns home and finds strong kesari fragrance from the kitchen.She wonders what is going on and asks her father. Her mother comes and says she is making kesari because of a good news. Now Jeeva starts telling in a hesitant way to Kalpana. He says Selva has come back now from hospital and that is all because of what you did--Kalpana interjects and says what did I do--and now Jeeva says also your athai (Adhi)went to so many temples to pray for Selva's early recovery. Again Kalpana intervenes and says
she did not see athai gouing to any temples and only Nithila was going to the temples.
Maragatham tells her to stop beating around the bush and come to the point. She says Kalpana is after all your daughter and you should not hesitate so much.
Jeeva says your engagement with Selva got broken off because Selva was interested in Magila and not because he did not like you or anything like that. Now Selva has realised his mistake and will not think about Magila anymore and hence your athai is very much interested in reviving the alliance again and wants you to marry Selva, he manages to tell her at last.
How should I describe Kalpana's face? Could it be told as uneasy,upset,disturbed--no no --it was more of a thoughtful face and her face is zoomed and that is the last scene.
(Kalpana is acting very naturally in this serial)
