*****Chapter 8*****

He sat there as he heard each and every word very clearly; he could feel an ache in his heart. Though he was aware that Manya still loved Veer it could be seen in her eyes and also in that day in ice cream parlor when so ever she felt him close to herself, she pushed him slightly. It could be understand that she was paired with Akash but her heart still belonged to Veer, her breath still took his name, her vision still saw her. It was all her ego that prevented her to love him anymore; to her she would rather give her life than loving Veer again. Akash wanted to wait, he wanted to wait for her, he knew one day her heart would accept his love. But after hearing everything from his dad all he knew was that maybe his love meant only sacrifice as he said with a fake smile plastered to his face

Saying this he headed out of the house in his bike, he drove the bike in the highest speed so that the winds could wipe his tears off, and he did not stop till he saw the place where he wanted to stop. It was an isolated road with tree covered on both side as a ravine cut through the jungle. He went there and sat, tear rolled down his eyes again and again as his throat went dry and even he struggle with his breath. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder he turned to see it was Tara, his childhood friend and also the only girl so close to him, she sat beside him and said to him

I still come to this place when I am sad but it is surprising to see you here too

He wiped his tears and was about to say something but was stopped by her

You need not wipe it I am your friend and it is good to share

As the words slip off her mouth she felt herself into his strong embrace as he shed his tears

She loves him, and I too do not deserves her but tara I really love her I really want her I know she deserves me and not him

But if you love her you must think of her happiness and not be so selfish as in love we must put our beloved wish before ours

He looked at her as she passed a sweet smile, and they remained watching the sun set together in the sky .

The wild winds hit the glass window harshly; the fire in the fireplace grew restless. The storm outside grew horrible, the rain seemed never ending, the clouds had darken the sky and the tree swayed in a manner that defined it could fall off any time. There was no network which meant they were struck here all alone but when already two people is there then how can someone be alone. It was because, manyata distanced herself, she sat in a corner of the room looking out of the window, her clothes were wet and it became like her second skin, as his eyes were fixed on her even if he wanted he could not take his eyes off her body, all her curves were perfectly understood, her clothes were transparent as the upper cloths failed to hide her assets. Her body had Goosebumps and her face was covered with water sprinkles. His eyes was filled with an unknown lust, but his trance was broken by her voice as he looked towards her and he tried to concentrate on her words but failed as the his minds was wandering about something else. His trance was broken only when he watched her going stepping towards the door as he stood up and asked

Where are you going?

She looked at him confusingly and said him

I said you just now that I am going to fetch something warm from the car

He walked towards her and said to her

There no need as I clearly remember there is nothing in the car.

She sat back feeling dejected and irritated as he took off his shirt and made her wear it but after sometime she began to shiver again as she complained

I am feeling so cold

Veer could not bear to watch her in pain as he said to her

I have bought something with me though I am not sure whether it will help you or not but it is my back pack

She hurriedly opened the back pack but to her surprise it was a bottle of "Emperial Blue" [a brand of whiskey]. He gave him a disgusting look as but he looked away whistling to himself, she walked to him and charged him

You think Mr Veer that I will consume this

He looked at her and said with a smirk

See manya you either take this or you freeze in cold

She stomped her foot and said

I would rather freeze rather than consuming this

Fine as you wish

Saying this he took the bottle opened the sip and drank some and kept it back, it did effect he was feeling warmer than ever, as he watched her shivering helpless from the situation finally she said in a feeble voice

Can I too have a sip?

He smiled as he passed it over to her, she took the bottle and her hands began to shiver as she took a sip, but the very next moment she started to cough as she said

Yuck how do you all even drink it... it is so dam bitter yuck

He looked at her and chuckled at her antiques. As he closed his eyes and rested his head on the wall. While some thing was indeed weird with manya she felt warmer than ever, she took off uday shirt and even decided to keep her duppata apart, her clothes were now a bit dried. Her throat and stomach began to burn up and sweat covered her completely. Her eyes felt heavy as Veer could sense the change in her and asked her

What happened are you feeling alright manya?

She tried to look at him but her vision went blurred she could not see him clearly just said in a voice entangled with words as she tried to say

Yes ...I am ...fieenn [ I am fine]

He took her cupped her face, her eyes were already red, she felt her body comparatively heavy as she said to veer

I am feeling very hot can I take off my clothes please?

He was shocked as he watched her unzipping her anarkali but he stopped her from doing so and said to her

No manya do not open your clothes or you will catch cold

He cursed himself for letting her drink it but he was helpless and now it was being so hard to stop her, and he knew what effect would the drink have on her after sometime and if she took the initiative he would not be able to control his feeling for her. As she looked at him tears brimmed in her eyes and she said to him

The day you rejected me I was so sad, I cried I even planned to committee suicide but then I stopped I really loved you, you were the first person I ever loved and you broke my heart even now I thought today morning that you love me too but all this was just for a friendship and now all I know is you love someone else why? Veer why don't you love me?

He was carried away by her tears as he said to her all his true feeling

I love you manyata yes princess I am your prince charming I am uday veer singh and the girl I talked about earlier was you

She looked at him time had paused for her, they shared a warm eye lock as she felt herself drowning in her brown eyes, she had completely forgotten about akash all she knew was only about veer, her love veer, she could feel herself taken away by a wave of emotions as all the flashes of past with veer came into her eyes she adored him even when he hated her, her love was this crazy as she scooped her head into his chest and said

I love you veer

He felt himself in 7^th heaven after hearing it as he said to her

I love you too
