Jalal's Fever

It is the body's natural response to infection. An infection-related fever may be particularly dangerous when your white blood cell count is low or is expected to be low. This occurs when the body's normal defenses against infection are low. Under these conditions, a fever needs to be carefully monitored and evaluated to find the cause as quickly as possible.

Today's episode was a bit dull. But, more on that later.

First let me elaborate upon a theory I have.

The medicinal paste prepared by Jodha seemed to worsen Jalal's fever, but there are positive and legitimate reasons for it. Often, when we ingest a strong medicine like an antibacterial tablet or the likes of one, we suffer some side effects in the form of fever, etc. So, it might be a sign of Jalal's body fighting harder to recover. The "hakim"s might understand the need for medicine to be prescribed by the same person and the fact that Jodha would be the best person to care for the Emperor, since she has prior knowledge about patients attacked by wild animals.

Or, in an absolutely cliched moment, Jalal might call out Jodha's name and refuse treatment from anyone else. 😒

I'm more inclined to believe the first.

Anyway, the reason for today's episode seeming a little monotonous to me is that it was nothing but a gigantic cry-fest, with no significant progress as far as the storyline is concerned. I understand how these details are important, but I wanted Jodha to start administering care for Jalal today. Tomorrow, hopefully. 😛
