But pity what use of all that wealth when an emperor has to sit guarding his wife whoo hates him even on trips when their life is in danger?

And his minister advicing him-Shahenshah, go and stay with Jodha begum at night. Its dangerous to leave her alone after that intruder came inside the camp

If i am not mistaken this was Shamshuddin Khan his Prime Minister whom Akbar called Atagah(father in persian) always. Wonder why in this serial he is not calling Shamshuddin father when he could call bairam khan Khan baba? That would have made Jodha realize her "Jallad husband" has a heart too?

Anyways, how could a son refuse his father's advice, so Jalal goes to Jodha begum's tent. Jodha suspects him so much Oh God she is scared to close her eyes and sleep worrying about Jalal's intentions. Humiliating for an emperor!!!!!!

Anyways to reassure her Jalal decides to sleep and falls asleep. But when he gets up Jodha is missing from her bed and he can hear footsteps and goes in that direction only to find her there. Jodha begum, hope you realize now you are family for jalal and he cares so much as to check where you disappeared at night.

Poor snake thought it will sleep warmly next to Jodha on bed but this Jalal extra vigilant had to spoil his beauty sleep for the night and grab him so hard 😆. And Jodha instead of seeing what why started giving her lectures that emperor has to protect woman blah blah blah till Jalal started laughing. I was sacred and so was the snake that Jalal had gone carzy after wife's taunts for past 6 months and hence he was looking so lovingly at the snake maybe thinking "Your tounge is less poison than my wife's. So do not scare me by hissing".

Snake is like "kahan miya-biwi ke jhagde mein phas gaya yaar, chain se sone bhi nahi derahe hain".

And jodha was like "Yahan pa kaunsi meri teesri sauten agayi jise jalal itne pyar se dekhraha hai"

So this was bodygaurd duty 1 Jalal get ready for more such duties till ajmer 😛

By the end of this trip Jalal will go crazy and next meeting with his foster father Shamshuuddin will be like "Dad, save me from my wife. She is driving me crazy" and he will be like "Welcome to the married man club Jalal, i had warned you one wife is only tough to handle and you already have three?. And that too 3 mothers, 3 wives and a mother-in-law equivalent to 300 mother-in-laws. GOD bless you and better get ready and go back to Jodhas camp and start your body guard duty son" 😆

Shamshuddinji ki taraf se main ek muft idea detha hun jalal- do not let go off that snake, hold on to it and then threaten her to let the snake on her and tell her to ask sorry for all her bakwaas talks so far, then ask her to not taunt and humiliate you in front of maids and ministers and gaurds etc else that snake will land very near to her and to treat you with basic human rights require for a husband. 😉

No wonder akbar wrote in akbarnama "A man must not marry more than once and second time only if he has no children from first marriage". Poor emperor must have realized it quite late in life affter 300 wives 😭

On serious note: Is that snake sent by Adham and his chamcha to kill jalal? Poor snake got distracted seeing such a warm bed inbetween forest and decided to sleep in peace buttt for shahenshah jalal 😆😕
