There is no point for her to accept Ayaan as her fate when there is no mutual love. She is putting up with this drama for short time as she is madly in love with Asad and because he requested she decided to go ahead with this crap temporarily. If there is no chance for her to be with Asad down the line then what incentive do Zoya have to stay back, she will fly to NY than accepting a husband and sasural that never wanted her...Zoya falling in love with Ayaan or vice versa would be very unrealistic as people can't switch their love interest in a hearts beat! Even in fiction such twist looks contrived.

Definitely not!! Zoya could never ever EVER forget Asad, even if she tries till the day she dies. If it's one thing the creators have been clear about it is that Asad and Zoya are eternal soul mates and their love crosses barriers. They cannot live without one another and keeping them apart would mean misery for them and everyone else around them.

Zoya would be forced to accept the marriage as part of her fate (not Ayaan), something which she hasn't done yet. And I think external circumstances will keep her bound -- Ghafoor.

She'll never be happy without Asad and eventually she'll realize Asad is the person she searched for her entire life, not Ghafoor.
