Jodha was a Princess that was pampered and loved her so much even before Jalal entered her life.

Rejection from her husband(well its a MU but neither clear it up),rejection from the family she puts on a pedestal,public humilation now even the Bandis will talk behind her back,other Begums will relish in insulting her telling her she is unwanted everywhere.She becomes a victim of emotional turmoil and with her emotions on overdrive she takes the only route she knows...suicide.Its understandable for a woman whose dignity,pride and honour are adorned on her like her jewels.
