Now her regret, anger, feelings of abandonment are all understandable, but do they condone her? No, just as the brothers guilt and desire to do right by her (for ayaan that means... Dont get in her pants, dude, and for Asad that means send her her toys 🤢 .. What about the backless blouses) does not condone them.
All the characters have been written in as unthinking, clouded by emotions and false ideas of principles, love, trust, destiny, faith. In short, falling for the myth of The Greater Good. The three protagonists made lethal mistakes in the name of love. So now, if Ayaan tries to be nice to Zoya, its wrong, if Asad does the same, its wrong. After all,its always the woman who is left holding the baby isn't it

Throwing in "amaanat" dialogues that date from the seventies, and having Zoya explode at into the night smacks of contrivance and bad Windows o/s patches!
Add to that the even more outdated cliches of Bhabhi and Devar, bahu, Ayaans room...its like scratching your fingernails on the wall!
Really, is what we have to watch before Zoya starts working her magic on the two families? Its never going to be a person that does that, its the secret reveal. And there were millions of other ways to do that!
Succumbing to emotional blackmail is a choice. We all do it at some point or the other, feel miserable, resentful and betrayed. I get that. But its still a choice we have made. If our loved ones don't understand and we don't have the support we need from them, too bad. It is entirely possible that they are not thinking clearly either. Very often, the truth is a lonely and thorny path for us to tread, be it ever so painful.
But no Indian soap will ever show that!
Lets not dig our knives into Asad for this one, or Zoya either. Ayaan, I don't know. It was a mistake that just kept getting bigger and bigger, but he started it 🤣
