Ankita is looking out for herself too. Archana is and will always be the brand of the show. But she wasn't given a proper screen time since so many months. Obviously she walked out, and came back when Ekta convinced her of a better role. The other actors too have all rights to similarily negotiate their terms and conditions and walk out if they are not satisfied. Recently Usha Ji too negotiated regarding increased screen time.

If someone has to be blamed, why is Ekta not being blamed for putting one actor ahead of the rest? Why is Zee not being blamed? Why is Ankita being blamed for looking after her self interests like any other person?

Or am I to understand that Ankita, like her character Archana is supposed to sacrifice her career thinking about the future of all these other actors and continue playing an older woman till the show is on air?

Or should she make a hasty decision by giving up on the lakhs she is getting now, walking out an Ekta show and taking the risk of ruining her good relations with Ekta (female lead means more to a show than male lead and Archana is the identity of the show) when she can easily negotiate her terms on the show. I repeat, ultimately it is EKTA's decision to decide whether the leap should happen or not. Nobody put a gun to her head to agree to the leap.

Let me clarify, I think Ankita is a terrific actress, I will probably give the leap a chance, maybe it will be good enough to hold my interest but I'm not holding my breath for that. If some of the other actors leave I will be a bit upset b/c I enjoy everyone in the show. I also read that the actress that plays Sulochana will be staying, if there is another leap of 20 years, she better be walking with a cane and looking VERY old otherwise it's just not believable 😆 If the article is true (and you can't believe everything you read) then I just don't like the fact that one person can decide how the show will go.
