Just wondered how many of you are excited for the leap? How many are not? I'm not sure I will watch the show after leap, to me it just seems like it's going to be a whole new show with new characters. I like Ankita a lot as an actress but it makes me upset to think that this whole leap is happening because she didn't want to play an older role, it's just sad that one actor/actress can decide the fate of a whole show. Please no bashing, just my opinion, I have not bashed anyone.

I may watch if the story is good,but I doubt it..Ekta has never made any sensible show..

I will not be watching because ashvik/arvi will not be there I will just be reading the updates because the show become boring without them and I love them alot

Ankita is not the one who is deciding the fate of the show .

I don't think Ankita holds that kind of power . If that was the case she would not be playing mother to Soham but his girl friend . Ekta Kapoor always brings leaps to her show .She has done it even in another show ( Bade Ache Lagte hain ) .In this show ( PR ) there was going to be a leap .Ankita has been given the role of the younger grand daughter and she will also play Archana .

Ekta had promised Ankita that she will cast her in a role that is close to her age .

Ankita has played an older character for almost 2 years now so how can anyone say that she does not wish to play an older character .She looks younger than some of those actors who are playing her kids but she is still playing her part professionaly but now enough .She has done enough of this kind of a role and her fans ( like me ) would love to see her do something different .

She has worked very hard for this show even doing the role of an older mother of 5 grown ups .

I am going to see the show after the leap s I will get to see Ankita do something different after a long time .Of course the most important thing is the story .The story should be interesting .

No Rithvik and Asha no Pr for me :). I cannot stand the storyline of this show it is totally unrealistic. Im only watching to see AshVik once AshVik are out my days watching this show are over.

PR has literally tortured me with its horrible tracks! I have been bearing it only to see a glimpse of Ashvik/Arvi! Why to take so much of mental strain when Ashvik aren't there?

And plus after the leap the show is going to be unrealistic which is kind of indigestible at least for me!

yeah thats exactly why i wont watch. i just feel like all the other actors who worked to make the show what it is today are being thrown like garabage for 1 actress. 1 actor cannot make a show run. personally i was never intrested in ankita. pre grown kids, i would watch for the antics of manjusha and damodar. im pretty sure there are others who watch for sake of other actors. and after the leap i could have cared less about ankita character. it was arvi, ovi, onir, sachun, teju that made the show intresting for me. and considering the way their fan base exploded, its clear that ankita alone did not carry the show. if ankita does not want to play a older role, fine move on to another show and pavitra rishta cant last w/o her then it would not be her fault. but to change everything for the sake of an actress and not bc of trp, that just egotistical. and ankita does hold that power bc ekta believes that she is the draw of the show. and nobody say that there are no more stories for the younger generation. their are so many possibiities. arvi married life, ovi and teju future, sachin and soham love lives. so many main characters, so many possibilities and yet none of it is being explored bc an actress wants to play a younger character. which i dont understand anyway bc isnt the point of acting to be someone nothing like you. its not like they are dressing you up in granny clothes. u get sexier clothes than your younger co workers. if its typecasting u r worried about then i guess i can understand but isnt only playing young roles also considered typecasting then?

I will love to watch this show after the leap and see Ankita in a younger role. For me she is the reason to watch.
It was painful for me to watch this show for the last one year or so for the content, acting and to see Ankita in an older role.
And where is it written that Ankita asked for and got the leap? She left the show when she was unhappy with her role. And came back when she was offered a good role. Why would Ekta do that unless she considered Ankita important. And whether she should leave the show or not or what she should do for her career is purely her decision.
I'm proud of her contribution to PRs super success for more than two years. For me she is one of the best actresses on TV.
