It might be in India that ppl are obsessed with fair girls..but most people I know here in America love Kajol and from what I remember Kajol was really popular in India and everywhere else during her time and so was Rani. So I don't understand when ppl credit Katrina's skin color for her success.

Her success mostly had to do with being part of hit films with Salamn and Akshay. She got tons of exposure. And she's very beautiful and has the hottest body in Bollywood. Gained tons of fans after that..and now she doesn't need a Salman or Akshay to get a hit!

exactly akki was giving hit pe hit - hit pe hit.. and she got most of the movies and became popular.. warna maine pyaar kyun kiya mein sucide attempt karne ke ilawa kya kiya😆 nothing..

Well luck can only carry you so far & she may have been initially lucky to have landed in Mumbai & found the right contacts but then I think it's a combination of hard work & good fortune that has sustained her for so long!!

I am no fan of her acting or her movies but I do believe that she has something that clicks with audiences & she has excellent script sense & knows what will work for her! Ofcourse she is one of the most exotic dancers in BW today & has a great body to go with it, she is hard working & that likely has translated very well for her!! Congrats to her on completing 10 yrs in BW🥳

Really?! Kajol?!

Everyone I know is obsessed over the fair girls starting back with Aishwarya then Katrina and Anushka. But more than fair-skin I think it's that fierceness or something they have or maybe they're drop dead gorgeous.

I will say, every guy friend I have has the hots for PC. 😆

On topic, it's everything put together. Most importantly, looks and hard work with the utter combination of knowing the right people at the right time.

Just luck cant consistently give one success. She is hard-working and knows what works for her.

All the so-called path breaking actresses, promising newcomers, versatile performers, new hearthrobs, fashionistas etc etc etc are no where near Katrina's pull. #Fact
