Days flew by...Arjun and Sakshi kept their friendship bond intact, not less not more and it never brought a change to his akdu behaviour...
It only brought down the insults and taunting remarks hurled at her!
She didnt step into his private space and disturb him as well...She was just happy with the changed attitude of his towards her!

It was a bright Sunday morning...There were no cases pending and so Sakshi had opted to stay back home...
Shree had fractured his leg during the previous case and he had a cast on the right ankle...Liza was on full duty with him as he was away from home and all alone in Mumbai with none to look after him...
Sameer and Aisha had left for Aisha's home town the previous evening...Today, Sameer's parents were coming to meet Aisha and her family to discuss about the engagement and the soon after wedding!
Sakshi sipped her coffee thinking about the developments in the team...Tom and Jerry of the team, Liza and her Specky were going steady in their relationship and were planning to make it official with a formal engagement very soon...Shree's sudden injury had slowed it up a bit!
Aisha and Sameer were already there and their engagement was just a month away!
She smiled at the sudden turn of events in the otherwise dry and purely formal relationships!
That brought his face to her mind...well they were friends now...but that friendship never stuck to the definition of a real friendship...they never chatted like friends nor did they go out together!
It was just a casual nod, a hi, hello and that was it! And yes, if she was lucky enough then he would shower her with a faint smile!
It hadn't progressed from there...
She couldn't help grin at her senior's attitude...she told to herself, "akdu ACP akdu hi rahega!"
As if he had heard that, his name flashed on her phone..."baap re baap...mere baat sunn li kya..."
She grinned to herself and muttered to the phone, "sau saal umar hai" and then picked the phone...
Arjun: Hello Sakshi, jaldi se office pauncho...pack and bring your things for a day or two...
Sakshi was over excited and chirped back, "hum kahi jaa rahe hai kya?"
Arjun just replied, "haan...come soon"
And then cut the phone...
Sakshi's heart just pounced up and down wondering where they were going...but on the other side, she was also a little anxious about going with him on some trip...
She didn't even know where they were going and what exactly he was planning!
He never let out the details to her...
But she knew she could trust him in this...maybe he was planning to confess...that thought paced up her heart beats once again!
She rushed into the room...she had to speed up her activities to reach the office soon!
She also mentally scolded him as she looked into the ward robe..."kal hi batha diya hota toh kuch shopping kar lethi..ab kya pehnoon? Aur kya kya pack karoom? ACP ko romance ya dating ka D tak nahi aatha...aur yeh kya baat hui...office pe bhulaaana? Yahaan aakhe pick nahi kar saktha...[she bumped her head gently pouting and added] tujhe hi sab sikhaana padega Sakshi warna tumaari love life shuru hone se pehle hi khatam!"
She blushed at her own wandering thoughts and smacked herself for going off track!
What if he called for a case...no...she conflicted with her own mind as she got ready and also packed her bag...
She packed her best dresses dreaming of a romantic date with her prince charming on a white horse...no white horse kahaan se aayega??...abi keliye a black SUV is fine...
She was in office soon...He was on the phone when she stepped in...He gestured her to wait in the SUV as they were lacking time...He knew that if she went to her desk, she would take time!
She nodded cheerfully...and rushed down to the SUV!

A few minutes later, he came and took the driver's seat!
Sakshi slowly voiced with a blush and a smile, "Arjun, where are we going?"
Arjun noticed her smile and her face wasn't hiding the crimson red color too...he was puzzled by all that but he just replied to her question, "mandel gaon"
Sakshi's heart jumped with every word he spoke but she enquired, "aise achaanak...hum dono akele..."
Arjun ignored her girly tone and replied formally, "haan, baaki ke team parso join karenge...Liza se maine keh diya hai ke agar zaroorat padhi toh usse bhi aana hoga..."
Sakshi's racing heart stopped for an instant and she looked at him with a confused expression...Her changing expression grabbed his focus too...He was looking at her now with a weird yet priceless expression...
She gulped and gathered courage to voiced further, "Dont tell me ke hum koyi case keliye..."
His glare made her mince her words at that...she understood everything clearly...she turned away from him as he started the drive...
She couldn't believe that she had thought all that even after knowing him so well...
She looked away through the glass and muttered slowly, "oh yeah...case ke alaava kya ho saktha hai...Silly me!"
Though she said that in a low voice, Arjun heard it clearly as his ears were all glued to her words...
He had perfectly understood the situation and also her cute misunderstanding...Cute...did he just think that she was cute when she misunderstood it as a date?
He shook his head amused at his own line of thoughts and spoke to himself, "so Miss publicist thought that I was taking her out on a date! Great! Waise khayaal bhura nahi hai!"
With that naughty thought racing his heart too, he steered the SUV towards Mandel gaon...
