It looks like Ira knows that her daughter is a psycho,which no body can handle and got a perfect

Murga to dump her. But the scheme failed and she is stck with her liability hence all that crying screaming and kicking. In case of Sumi, her son is a commodity ,slightly devalued by the past

Failed marriages. But still good enough to get a virgin bride from a so called uppwardly

Mobile family, which will increase her status too. But that too failed and hence the kicking and

Screaming. All this Rishta jodna nonsense thru marriage is so out dated. Kings did that for

Polical alliances. We ordinary folks should not dwell on that.

Jagya is the perpetual fall guy in BV. They have always beaten him up and yelled at him and thrown him out for right and wrong reasons.

Same as they have always pitied and supported and loved and adored Anandi for all kinds of weak, crybaby, ultra-generous, stupid reasons.

CV's are just running a show. They took pity on Jagya for a while - but they need to again put him on the defensive and again want Ganga to get cursed by all.

I guess this too will be meant to show how an unattached woman is fair game by any and everyone. A aBala can pick on her like she's free meat and Sumi/IRA/Sanchi/Anandi can point fingers at her character and call her all kinds of nasty names.

BV is just propagating the logic that a single woman - post 18 - is fair game for anyone.

Mahi proved it with Ashima.

Bala did with Ganga.

The villagers did with Anandi with Shiv and before that another fellow, while she was divorced.

Hooked - It is true to an extent.Single woman no matter what her education level or what her position is at her work place is considered a fair game.

Men tend to think that a single woman is looking for attention from males.🤢

So if something happens to her she deserves it because she is single and probably invited all that attention from the male concerned.
