I don't think Asad would agree to lying about Zoyaan for any reason. I do think that though he understands it was unintentional, he does not know the nikaah was invalid. So I dont think he is loaning Zoya to Ayaan, but giving her away (as he said to her rightful owner!). It would be out of character for him to agree to a farce.

Thoughts?

Same here, I dont think he would either ... it looks like he's under the impression it's real cuz he kept saying "you got married"

I completely agree with you... I too don't think that Asad is aware that the Nikaah is invalid... Ayaan and Zoya said that they got married accidentally but neither of them said that the Nikaah is invalid...
