Now the ball is in Zoya's court.
The Maulvi asks Ayaan in the precap that does he now consider the Nikaah valid, and he says yes.
But the biggest Question is - when he asks Zoya the same question, what will she say? In the very first episode they had made the Qaziji say that Islam gives the right of choice to a girl equal as the man... so this question should be asked to her as well (specially because you can see her crying and not wanting to go ahead with this all). So when she is asked, what will she say?
I hope she says no. And runs away.
Now is the time, to Run Zoya! NOW!
But, my doubt is that in the way Gul Khan/PH/Channel has been objectifying women for the sake of drama... WILL ANY ONE EVEN ASK ZOYA WHAT SHE WANTS?
Yes she made a mistake. But hey people make mistakes all the time. People marry in all their sanity (love marriages) and then fall out of love and call of marriages. Just because she did something foolish can she be guilted into the relationship for someone else's benefit like Nikhat?
Now is the time, that Zoya shows she is a modern woman, and finds a modern way out of this mess. Like, challenge the Qazis who are hell bent on saying this is a valid nikaah. Question them about the rules of an Islamic Nikaah. Then, give Haseena a piece of your mind. Like, ask her why she called of the Nikaah and when they dont have an issue with Nikhat Farhan relationship, why is she acting for them on their behalf? Just because she is Najma's mother in law and equation has changed does not mean she can throw her fat ass tantrums around.
And, after that, show Zoya walk out. With dignity.
